it would be great to know examples of things that take more clicks in Win10 compared to 7 or XP so we can pass that feedback on.

So after posting about the tech preview being stuck for hours, I found the solution. If you are trying to install 10049 and it hangs at 30%, the simple thing to do is disable your wireless adapter and also after downloading the update from 10041 to 10049, pull your ethernet cable if plugged in when the screen says preparing to install update. The 10049 update should proceed normally now and complete relatively quickly.

nothing happens when I do

Yes, on 10041 (slow), and so do many others if you look on Win10 feedback. So I guess they know about it.

managed to force 10049.

now at least the search works, I can find my installed apps!

but I have Korean messenger ... what in the world ... ?

The Korean Messenger thing was there last night for me and gone this morning, figured the regional settings took a while to kick in.
