I have bought MS software of ebay for years. Ebay scrutinize carefully and withhold payment in Paypal until you sign ok. Cost for windows 10 is about NZ$5.
they provide the key.
You download from the Microsoft site and imput the supplied key .
Updates arrive as normal via windows update.
If the key was not legit it would not let you do it.
You're saying you honestly believe you're buying a legit legal to use key for $5 from ebay, when they are 100's from more reputable sources?

If you realize how Microsoft keeps track of 0.5billion windows 10 PCs matching your unique PC ID to the license key with no duplications you wont get any pirated copies.
Thats all well and good for consumer, but that doesn't apply with MAK, which is what you will been buying. It is not a legit licence, pure and simple. Just because it activates and gets updates does not mean you are using the licence in a compliant way.
Just because it activates does NOT mean it isnt pirated
Just because it activates doesnt mean MS wont later de-activeate & mark your install as pirated in the future
Ive seen that happen many times. Obviously pirated install disk , activated OK.
Months later I get a call saying its been flagged as pirated: just as I warned could happen .
Or activates OK the 1st time , then when you need to reload you find the install key is blocked/flagged
People know these things are dodgy, they just try & justify their dodgy purchases.
I can register a stolen/dodgy car , doesnt make it less stolen/dodgy .
caveat emptor....let the buyer beware Is always relevant.
Do your homework before buying.
When I see comments about pirated discs etc I realize how the world is changing. I have not seen a install disc for 10 years! A search in google will find as I said earlier about ebay the world wide trend (including NZ) is resellers selling keys to use from the microsoft download site.
This is the way of the future .
freitasm: Removed posts with links to obvious pirate sources. Prepare for Banhammer.
Interesting, I had a look at buying the upgrade to Pro from Home via Microsoft NZ store... $209... although I think pro/home is misleading as a name.

andrewNZ: There is no chance either of those will be legit licences.
There is no sense in paying to pirate stuff.

I have actually purchased a number of copies of windows 10 OEM off key sites with 0 issue from any of them dating back to when windows 10 was first launched costing around $20 nzd each
Its known as grey market they could be an obscure hardware manufacturer in a out of the way country that gets windows 10 cheaper or they could be part of a bulk licencing agreement I assume they are sold against microsoft's TOS.
