Works fine for me. Check plugins, toolbars for outdated versions.

Installed IE9 last night, I don't like the look of it very much, it takes about as long as firefox to start on my system, but once its open it seems quite perky, I love the GPU Rendering of pages, makes it so much smoother, I was watching the gpu usage while scrolling down engadget.com and it was hitting a good 30% so it definatly uses the gpu well.

I have found quite a few websites are having trouble with IE9. These are a few below.

Try open2view.com, it will only load the banner, and displays a warning on the bottom, even in compatibility mode.

Trademe also first renders the page black and pauses, before displaying the page properly.

Interesting....  Open2view.com opens and renders fine, same with Trademe...
Gotta love when these things happen.

Thanks I will try updating all my plugins. The thing is that it is happening on two differnet computers, one running vista, and one running windows 7, but I guess it could be the plugins as I don't tend to update java.

seamonkey: Is ie9 capable of supporting ad blocking addon/feature?

add-on available for IE9.

Thanks for that. Now I can no longer see irritating adverts.

For years I have been using firefox etc really liking ie9, seems quite snappy!

Thanks, I have now updated all my plugins and java, but it makes no difference on those two websites in IE9. Chrome, frefox opera are all fine, just not IE9. Maybe I have got a bad install of IE9, although many other websites render fine.

I don't think there's a "bad install". You should check plugins - try running Internet Explorer with plugins off (START | RUN and typing: iexplore.exe -extoff).

Thanks tried that too, and it loads a webpage saying it is running IE with any addons, and when I go to property2view.com website, it still just loads the header and nothing below it.  I get a box at the bottom of the page saying ' A problem with this website cause IE to refresh the page using compatibility mode'  . I am at a loss, but if it is happening to me, I pressume it is also happening to other people.

I like IE9 so much that Ive dumped Firefox and Chrome. I stopped using IE when it got to IE6 or near abouts. IE9 is a beaut.

okay one problem IE 9 doesn't remeber login / passwords. In tools its set to remember passwords but its doesn't. I have to log in each time when entering sites. I even tried a master password, I type that in each time but still have to log in. Broken?
