kiwifidget: Could those in the know please comment if they think WX would run OK on my laptop.
Its a Core2Duo P8600@2.4Ghz, with 3GB of RAM, and a 240GB SSD. It currently runs W7 quite nicely.
timmmay: Is Win X preview ready for use as a daily driver? Doesn't need to be perfect, just cheaper than paying for windows for a friend of mine who's on XP. He only uses it for web and email, maybe word processing.

Put that feedback in the tool, the products not done yet, far from it
It's hard to please everyone, if you love Win7 keep on using Win7 is always an option
