Hi Folks,
Does anyone know how to submit a bug for Windows 8.1 online. Having been extensively testing 8 (and 8.1) I have a couple of 'breaking defects' that I would like to report in the hope that they might actually get fixed. I have two of the defects to windows 8 and one occurs only in 8.1.

The instructions given in the Windows 8.1 Preview FAQ it says:-

In particular, if you think you've encountered a problem that you'd like to have address in future releases of Windows 8.1, post a "Bug Report" about your issue on the Windows 8.1 Preview forum.

I am unable to find the so called 'Bug report" facility - I can only see a community discussion (I have posted here but I suspect nothing will happen).

I am aware that being a preview product their is no support - however, being a software company one would think they might be interested (as part of their 'listening to customers') in known if a product is broken or not.

I have a problem with windows 8.1 dropping my internet connection with Vdsl. Telecom have replaced my modem and monitored my line with no answers.
Other users can connect and stay on line with Windows 7 Ipads and Linux Os. Any help would be welcome. Drops of after a couple of minutes

More detail, what happens exactly?

My internet connection drops completely "Page cannot be displayed etc". Have to restart my computer, sometimes can disable/enable the net work adapter and this gets thing going. Have updated my adapter drivers.
All other computers not using Windows 8.1 connect fine and stay on line. Connection drops off after two or three minutes Can play movies through Movei Planet app these do not drop the connection.

Computer is? Driver make model etc is?
Can you ping the router when your Internet stops, can that machine ping itself or ping other computers on the network

Have you done any other troubleshooting? Does rebooting the router bring the PC back on the net? Or you need to reboot/reset adapter?

Samsung series 9 AIO about 15 months old
Problems have only arisen since VDSL installation. No connection problems before. Have a Surface Rt with 8.1.it drops connections as well. Have tried all trouble shooting methods listed.
Window 8 computers don't have a problem

Wired or wireless?

Did Surface RT work ok with 8.0?

Did the AIO work OK with 8.1 before you got VDSL?

So does the VDSL connection itself actually drop out, or is it network connectivity from the 8.1 devices? Presumably it's *all* network connectivity when this happens? When it breaks, does it affect all 8.1 devices at the same time, or can they 'break' independently? If the former, presumably non-8.1 devices are fine? It almost sounds like a NIC drivers and/or local routing table issue. Do you have some sort of security software on the devices that may be blocking connectivity?

Telecom have monitored the line from there end and have found the line has no problems. It is only since I have had vdsl installed. a month ago. 8.1 worked fine before hand.
I have 8.1 computers at my school all connecting with no problems using adsl. My Vdsl download is around 16.0 and upload varoun1.2. I am about 950 metres from the exchange but as I have stated telecom have benn monitoring my connection .

My connection is down again but I can watch movies on my home network. So local net work is not affected.
Telecom sent me replacement modem today I tried that no change. Real mystery
