is there something wrong with the sender or recipients address?

If its happening on the recipient end, when they accept the meeting, can their server not look up the address of the domain name the email is sent to?

It is not happening at the recipient end. They only received the original appointment request and when they acknowledge the request the sender is alerted but then outlook starts sending the appointment and it reaches no one and ndrs start to flow like randomly 15 ndrs in a 20 mins interval

so the address looks OK? If you send to the address from the same client or server the message sends?

the error message says its the format of the email address
