Hi all,

My laptop shut off the other night, because I forgot to turn the switch on at the wall when it was plugged in (doh!).  Now my Sound icon is gone from the taskbar :(

I restarted and it still didn't re-appear.  After checking my System Icon settings, I saw that it was greyed out and stuck on 'Off' ;

After shutting the laptop down again though, it didn't re-appear.  Any ideas what keeps causing this?   It's quite frustrating :(
