See Office 2016 is launched today...

Anyone had any luck trying it out yet?

We've got an Office 365 Subscription at work "Office 365 MidSize Business". After reading that it's been released, I've logged into the control panel and gone to download "The latest version of office" but its still just Office 2013 for me.

Maybe because its a business account its delayed, can anyone comfirm/clarify?

I will definitely be pleased to try out the desktop collaboration functionality, as we've got a few users using the web apps for this purpose. It would be nice if OneDriveForBusiness had a fix up but I'm not holding my breath.

I logged into my account and then clicked install and it's installing it right now.

It should be available... I was planning on refreshing my laptop but decided to wait - now that Office 2016 is out I can install all fresh.

It would be nice if in the Office 365 control panel it gave you some kind of hint as to what you're getting when you hit download software...

In the way of a Logo (After searching the net I'm still not sure what sort of 'branding' Office 2016 has), or updated application icons, or heaven forbid - an actual descriptive text.

Even the installer might have a different color or something. It's all a bit ambiguous at the moment. (Even running the installer I wasn't sure which office version I was getting)

EDIT: This is what it shows on the download page (right click image->open in new tab to enlarge):

So I've tried again, and it still seems to be the same...

I think that I'm update my Office 365 2013 version to 2016   but I can't be sure as there is no indication also it's been updating for an hour how and still only about 35% thru..  Just hope it doesn't turn oput to be Office 2013 again..

Not available on our Office 365 account yet, tried downloading the installer a couple of times and it just put 2013 back on.
Also not available in the Action Pack sub yet either.

It took about 4 hours to update.  Not too impressed that I lost all my view and tool bar settings and now have to go and create them all again.   If I was paying full price for this I don't see anything in Office 2016 that would want me to upgraded from Office 2013..

Just finished a fresh Windows 10 install on my laptop, before installing Office 2016. After installing some third party software EMET 5.2 is closing Outlook with a Caller mititagion.

I suspect it may be Adobe Track and Send but even after fisbling the plug-in Outlook still causes EMET to fire its security mechanism...

Office 2016 for OSX has turned up in VLSC, don't think it was there yesterday. No sign of the Windows install yet.

I upgraded to Office 2016. The only issue I have is with Outlook.
- My 3 GMAIL email accounts - no issues
- My Office 365 email account - no issues
- My 2 Microsoft Exchange (OneNet) accounts - not supported

Currently using the OneNet cloud version which is a bit of a pain. Nothing on the OneNet website, in fact Office 2016 doesn't rate a mention.

Anyone in Geekzoneland know if they are planning to upgrade to 2016 and when??

Err are you saying you can't use Outlook 2016 on Exchange 2010?
