which ipad model? did you change ipads?
AFAIK it's still free on the original 9.7" ipad pro, the only pro model that it's still free
nathan: You need to sign in to the app, you don’t need an Office 365 subscription unless you’re on an iPad Pro, because of the screen size
That all changes at the end of the month thou.. The only current model ipad that will get under the 10 inch rule will be the mini :(
onetapu: My reply to all posts - I bought a brand new iPad 9.7” just 2 months ago to take overseas so I could have excel - which was working fine then. I’m now away and it’s stopped working so I’m very frustrated as I need it for work. My Microsoft email and password are correct but the code they are supposed to send me never arrives. Not sure what else I can do
Hi! You should still be able to use Office, only thing I can think of is there was a temporary issue with the one-time/verification codes.
And yes, the new 10.2" iPad causing some issues and questions internally! Fortunately there are some shiny new Surface devices (shameless plug...)

Get them to get you a 365 subscription,..... the free ios excel is strictly a "non-commercial" product...
And while no one is likely to ping you for it, and your office is expecting you to do work on it, then they should at least provide the software...
If it's for work, talk to your work IT staff. They'll have the correct information for you to use the software and verify your account.
