Pushy salespeople who think they know what's good for me and what I want better than I do piss me off to no end. Yoobee lost a purchase from me this past weekend because of that kind of behavior. The salesguy seemed to think that there was no way I knew why SSD was superior to a regular hard drive and what the difference was between RAM and storage, and proceeded to lecture me as to why my choice was inferior to the one he was recommending, even though I had told him quite clearly that I didn't need a sales pitch and knew what I wanted to buy. Once my polite brain cells had departed the building out of frustration I did point out that some of his definitions were incorrect, and that I had probably been opening up and playing with computers long before he started using a fork and knife (bad of me). Such a huge contrast when I walked across the road to Noel Leeming, the guy just asked me "this is the one you want? you know it doesn't have an SSD drive or the latest Retina technology?" And I said "yes, this is definitely the one I want thanks". And that was it.
Too bad Ubertec is closed on Sundays, would have saved me some aggro.
