Hi

We have ESET Mail security for exchange on our mail server.
Havent really tinkered with the settings much - but have enabled the antispam facilities.
I can see its pretty busy knocking down the junk - the only ongoing issue I have is that it doesnt like xtra email.

They all get blocked with the message "Sender has spammy reputation (100%)" - no matter who they actually come from at xtra - so it doesnt like the domain.

I added xtra.co.nz to a whitelist - but that hasnt prevented it from rejecting mail from xtra.

Does anyone else run this product or have some ideas on xtra emails?

Have you turned off Content filtering in Exchange?

Good point - I have checked and still have the MS IMF filter turned on - but this never objected to xtra email.
The log file in the ESET under antispam seems to be indicating that EST is getting upset about xtra.co.nz.

As for exchange connection filtering - I had a couple of BL lists that I was using - but they disappeared so I just disblaed them - so they shouldnt be doing anything...

I was watching the English BBC program 'Click' and they were discussing spam, and on the computer screen, I saw that some of the spam they had got in their junkmail folder was from email addresses ending in @xtra.co.nz, which I thought was was quite funny to see. Probaby spammers just forging @xtra.co.nz addresses.
