Ordered an item from Hong Kong.
It was uplifted 16th, left HK 17th, arrived NZ 18th and delivered by NZ Post Saturday 19th at midday. I have had mail to Christchurch take longer :-)
Oh and that was free delivery by standard air mail,




 I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

That's exceptionally quick for airmail, I've had some stuff take 4+ weeks, with the occasional lost package

Yes, couldnt believe it when Mr Postie rocked up on his moped. i was thinking maybe late next week at the earliest.

I've found that typically packages from Asia are really quick. Europe also tends to be quicker than North America, go figure...

I find ordering stuff on Ebay from China gets to me quicker than stuff ordered at the same time from dse.

Sometimes they do that. Other times I have to start a paypal claim before it arrives.

I ordered (before Christmas) a cable from everyone's favourite Hong Kong based cheap electronics supplier, dx.com, and it arrived in four working days. It very much looks like we're starting to see some effort from Chinese based shippers and/or China Post to improve their image to the western world.
