Maps with errors are very collectable.

 

I spent my early childhood in New Guinea on Manus Island.

 

A map of New Guinea had been printed on a souvenir tea-towel.

 

The "M" was omitted from "Manus Island" on the map.

 

Merchants initially covered the error with the price tag, but soon stopped doing this as the tea-towels became a cult classic wink
