Anyone know if there is a maximum time allowable to fix an appliance under warranty (8 months old) before I request a replacement rather than repair. Been 3 weeks now. They're supposedly waiting on parts.

IANAL, but it would likely depend on the terms of the warranty. Or are you referring to the CGA?

Have they told you when parts will be available?

I had issues with an oven - that required parts to be imported, they stuffed up and imported the wrong part - so another 3 weeks.  The oven was actually mainly usable while this was going on, so I put up with it.  If not, I'd have read the riot act.
