I have a change of job coming up.  Whereas my existing job involves a small team, a lot of desk time and a lot of time spent on conference calls, my new job will be very hands on (but not in a metoo way!) and very travelly with a team of >100 scattered all over the place.

Long story short I'll be on the internet and by extension GZ a lot less.

It's been fun.

Mike

But seriously now.. waiting on planes, taxis, hotel rooms - what else are you going to do in that situation? ; ).

Back for quick tech question.

Haven't had much time for Geekzone since is posted this thread.

New job is rather busy.  Fun though.  Office is blue and lumpy.

OK lets work on this

Clue "my new job will be very hands on (but not in a metoo way!) and very travelly with a team of >100 scattered all over the place."

Mike is a boatie. As in Aqua. I'm sure he posted a pic of his boat once. Travelly job, on water (blue and lumpy) . Team of over 100. All over the place.

Its obvious, he's running the Kiwi America's Cup team!!

:-)

Nope, never been on a yacht in my life.

I'm a petrol head when it comes to boating. Although- I am getting plans drawn for a diesel hybrid powerboat at the moment.

Interesting exercise. People in the boatbuilding industry generally concurs that diesel in boats will be replaced by hydrogen. Diesel hybrid is the interim step.
