Somehow I assumed that the wee devices I saw some years back on TradeMe would always be available. Not so.
A bit of research suggests they were Telsoft LPT310NZ beasties, but any compatible inline device that suits a New Zealand dial would be fine.
Any ideas, hive mind?

Are you sure the HT801 supports the NZ reverse dial?
if it's a NZPO 706/746 phone I have fitted a few of these

That is pretty cool I might have to try it out, the advantage of the rotatone is it works on any line
The other gotcha I these old phones draw a lot of REN (2-3) which can cause problems with some ATAs when the phone rings
