Handsomedan:

Having a busy day of meetings and one that is a standing invite every week at the same time being rescheduled just 5 min before it's due, but being rescheduled to suite the rest of the team, who are all in Australia.

i.e. 6pm meeting that was until 10 min ago 2.15pm.

Annoying.

Thank God I am leaving. This is not an irregular occurrence.

"I'm sorry, that is outside of my working hours.  Catch you next week."

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

This is a huge thread which indicates there are many things which annoy people and it's possible this particular annoyance has already been documented.

With that caveat (and this is a real first world problem), going to cafes (and sometimes restaurants) where the tables have wobbly legs and you are always stuffing paper napkins or something similar under one leg to stabilise them. For me there is nothing more annoying than being in a cafe and sitting in a table like that.  And it's even worse when the proprietor has done the stuffing of the paper under the leg and not bothered to provide a permanent fix.

There was an episode on the UK Dragon's Den many years ago where a guy pitched an idea for funding that involved selling small packets of wedges that customers could take with them to a cafe or restaurant to stick under table legs to prevent the wobbly table problem. He was declined and basically laughed out of the room as I recall.

Until the "Dragons" stopped at the cafe next door to the studio for a quick coffee after the recording...

My poor little Nexus 7 LTE. It's been hanging on like a wee trooper but of late it will not recognise the SIM card or sum such error. I try toggling flight mode on and off, removing and replacing the SIM. Guess I should check the APNs to see if something have gone out of whack.

Was made more annoying by the motel that I was at having their WiFi down.

Oof I have similar from a vendor. I have a weekly scheduled 1 hour meeting that I frequently find myself arranging my day and tickets around. A whole hour is a big chunk of a busy day and when it gets rescheduled I suddenly have dozens of tickets that need updating with further delays to issues that often have been previously pushed out. I then have to prioritise the outstanding jobs so they don’t get mixed the next time.

Yep, some people just do not even consider knock-on effects. They don't even look at shared calendars.

Last week was my first week back and I only had one appointment in my calendar for the whole week. Someone then said "we need to talk about X" and proceeded to schedule a meeting at exactly the same time as the existing appointment.

Even better when you're the minnow in a big big pond. Meeting with European counterparts, hosted by the French: "It will be very convenient if we can have this meeting after lunch for a few hours, thus not really affecting anyone's day". "Also, because we don't want to work for too long in the afternoon, we shall have three meetings on consecutive days". Great if you're any one of 15odd European countries that attend, not so good when you're up at 2am for three days straight...

Not seeing the problem here, that's normal working hours isn't it?

Flybuys Store. I have a points expiring in March. Swipe through the items of interest on their webpage, none of which have enough information so you need to click on the item...only to find it is 'out of stock.' Why can’t out of stock be faded out or stipulated in the main listing to save going back and forth. Grrr after many attempts and gave up again.

Had what sounded like a decent downpour yesterday evening.  Checked the garden and only the top 1cm was damp.  Needs more.
