Odi profanum vulgus et arceo.

Lingua Latina Occasionibus Omnibus?

Non scola, sed vita! Learned the hard way via the Bello Gallico. In times past, there was no chance of getting into university without a degree in Latin - whether for an engineering diploma - or a medical degree. Fortunately, I could at least spare myself the ancient Greek and Hebrew languages. My favorite was the 5th case, the ‚Ablativus instrumentalis‘ :-))

The sheer number of Drunk and Publicly Drinking (In a Liquor Ban Area) students around here tonight!

Males and Females publicly urinating on the berm or in / on someones driveway - even while Armourguard are watching!

(And waiting for the Police to never show up for the party noise complaint enforcement! Armourguard gave up after well over an hour waiting!)

And then the Drunks happily drive home knowing the chance of being caught is NIL!

I need some more cheap shirts, I normally get them at the warehouse who seem to have mismanaged their stock into having none, so got some from kmart instead.

Those have no chest pocket on them so as a result after buying food I put the card on the tray that the food was on and then promptly forgot to put it in my wallet so left it behind. Good thing I am not someone with only one card or I would be screwed doing that on a Saturday of a long weekend.

What in the world has Bunnings done to its website? I wanted to find out whether my local one is open today. First of all, I'm sure there used to be a "store finder" or something at the top of the page, but it's nowhere to be found:

There's also nothing relevant at the bottom of the page. But then it gets weirder! Click the big "Products" button with the menu icon next to it and it changes to this:

There is now a Stores link where it used to say Our Price Guarantee, but you can't click it. It just gets rid of the grey overlay and returns you to the home page.

I was able to find the information another way, but still felt like grizzling :)

Public drunkenness should be an offence. We need drunk tanks like many USA towns have. Get thrown in, have to pay $250 to get out in the morning.

It turns out that the site breaks when the browser window is set to a particular size. A smaller window works, and a larger one works.

But by all means just blame Apple for a broken website...

Domino's change the website; place an order - after 15 minutes of processing, it tells me the payment failed.
My bank account tells another story.

Vodafone's inability to make "Auto Top-Up" work.

My wife is with VF and she has a prepaid account. When it gets below $5.00 it is supposed to top up with $20.00

It never does. Ever.

I have checked and re-checked the settings and it should work. It just doesn't.

Noel Leeming via The Market - still haven't shipped my Good Friday order (I wasn't expecting it to be delivered by now, but it should have been shipped)

Even The Market thought it should have been shipped by now as they sent me an email advising that.
