Couple of items I've been thinking of buy from Amazon now have the old "This item can't be shipped to your selected destination" message.

Damn you Amazon! Stop tracking what I view :P

just keep playing around with it and it may work out.  It was doing that to me sometimes, just add everything you want to your cart and then click on save for later.  then add them back one by one, after each one check the checkout page.  it may work.  i just did 3 orders, one of them was not free shipping and guess what, it has the earliest delivery date by miles.

the filter is useless you need to see individual items if it is sold by amazon or third party. if you leave it in the cart the seller changes to the one with the lowest price (usually by a couple of dollars) and may not be amazon

Yeah that's more or less what I did, I put stuff out of cart and into wishlist and back into cart and the free shipping option came back.

I-parcel hit the projected delivery date right on the head.

When Amazon tracking showed please contact carrier, I-Parcel emailed me back within a day, then followed up a few days later with the new tracking number inside NZ (without me asking).

I've even had a short conversation via email with I-Parcel, now trying to find out whether they require signatures when they use NZ Couriers. The reason being, there has been a parcel sitting on my doorstep since 10am that looks like it could have fit inside my letterbox, and the courier wrote my name (or some odd variation of it) to sign for the parcel themselves.

TL;DR
I-Parcel = good
Local carriers = meh.

Here is a list of my pending orders:

Order 1 - Placed 18 Feb 2014
Package A - Delivery Estimate: 11 March.  Shipped 19 Feb, left US on 4 Mar.
Package B - Delivery Estimate: 10 March.  Shipped 19 Feb, left US on 4 Mar.
Package C - Delivery Estimate: 10 March.  Shipped 19 Feb, left US on 4 Mar.

Order 2 - Placed 26 Feb 2014
Package D - Delivery Estimate: 18 March.  Shipped 27 Feb, hasn't yet left the US.
Package E - Delivery Estimate: 18 March.  Shipped 27 Feb, left US on 4 Mar.

Given my previous experiences with iParcel, the packages in order 1 better get a move on to hit their target delivery dates.  Previously I've seen packages sit for days/over a week with the status "NZ Customs".

It's also interesting that package E which was part of order 2 placed 8 days later seems to have made the same international consignment as my first order.  This seems to confirm my suspicion (posted earlier) that they wait until they get a certain amount of packages before they send a shipment to this part of the world.  Or they have regular shipment dates and only put these free shipping orders in where there is space left after paid shipping is packed.  Maybe that explains why 2D hasn't yet left the US?
