I wondered why not a photo of the Beehive, near where a crane fell in the harbour?

Unless someone got photos of it actually falling in, there's no need for photos of where the crane now isn't.
But for some reason "journalism" now requires everything to have a photo attached because they must assume that people are too stupid to be able to read words and create a suitable image in their heads.

A day in the life of a Stuff reporter:

Spend day on reddit, twitter etc. Find popular thread (169 follow up comments), write story with basically no original content, get it on the front page, deflect criticism that you lazily plagiarised the story from social media by crediting the source and providing a link, create a poll, probably get a christmas bonus and a raise:

In this case, if they hadn't had a "photo", the article would have been about 50 words long and it would have been obvious how threadbare the story was. They could possibly have addressed questions like "who does the crane belong to?", "why was the crane there?". Even better, they could have accurately said where the incident happened: later updates made it clear it was the oil jetty at Point Howard - if they had to have a picture, then a quick snip from Google Maps / Google Earth would have actually added some information

I guess it depends on how you define broken.

HTTP, traffic and routing etc works fine.

But the pipes are blocked with "sewerage". So maybe that's what they mean by "broken"?

It's not the headline, but in the body of the article about the typhoon cancelling RWC games.

"Team and pubic safety is the primary consideration and no decision will be made that endangers safety.

Have to agree with her on that particular trolley. They are a handful. No easy fix for that. They are designed to manoeuvre in the aisles. All the Bunnings stores I've been to have other trolley options.
