Binged season 3 of Stranger things, Followed on well from the other 2 season's , I would give it a solid 9/10. Its my sort of thing.
Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding : Ice cream man , Ice cream man
"Another Live" on Netflix. I have only watched episode 1 of this Netflix original, so I am not going to rate this yet as it was only released this week and the first season is 10 episodes.
Basically an alien artefact lands on Earth and does nothing, to begin with, but the scientists have worked out where it originated from so sends a crew of specialists on a faster than light speed ship to investigate. The young crew face unimaginable danger(s), from within and without, as they go on a high-risk mission to explore the genesis of an alien artefact. Plus, what of the artefact on Earth, what is its purpose ?
This show has potential to go either way.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
Not exactly watched, but apparently Hulu is going to make a new version of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Hope they don't do anything weird like turning Arthur into some dude from Minnesota or something...

Watched the first four episodes. Basically a fustercluck after another. If continues like this, ten episodes is too long. No surprise it's got only a 4/10 on IMDB.

Ah Ha - when I looked the night I watched and just before I posted it had no rating. Oh Dear I will persevere for one for show but me thinks it is going to crap. Pity the concept had promise.

And we just decided to skip from Episode 3 straight to the final episode. It doesn't look like we missed anything on episoders 4 - 9. And the way it ends... Not looking forward for Season 2.

The Boys - Prime video
"THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It's the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formiddable Vought backing."
5 episodes in and I am enjoying it. Lots of kiwi actors, though Karl Urbans English accent drops in and out. Haven't seen so many warning labels at the start of a TV episode before.
The Prosecutors on BBC IPlayer (documentaries)
Fascinating behind the scenes 3 part documentary on the workings of the UK Crown Prosecution Service. It follows several serious cases from the police charging one or more people to the end of the court cases.
With what they have to deal with I'm surprised most of the people involved are still sane.
I assume we have a similar service here although the volume of cases dealt with in the UK was truly shocking.

We've run out of things we want to watch on Netflix - they seem to take ages to load new things.
We are now watching The Protector, a mildly amusing Turkish version of Iron Fist, almost! The dubbing is not bad and much better than something called Unit 42 which was ridiculously badly dubbed into English from either Dutch or French, I could never quite work out which. Good premise, dubbing so bad it was funny.
There are quite a lot of things I want to watch on Amazon Prime, but every single one says "not available in your region" and I have no idea how to use a VPN on an Android TV.

Another Life - Netflix.
I'm really enjoying this. I was hooked somewhere between episode 2 and 3. It initially looks like a housemates reality show in space and gets better, adding moons, planets, different kinds of alien life. Plot point explanation is sometimes a zero effort handwave and that can be annoying.
Imo ninety percent of the crew failed psychological testing required for space travel and were only selected due to computer error. This explains nearly everything that happens later. It's a sci-fi schlock horror.
If you can ignore the bad points the sillyness is a lot of fun. Some of the emotional stuff is serious as well in spite of being treated very lightly. I'm starting to take this show seriously.
Finished Season 3 of Stranger Things. Not bad.
The Boys. Interesting so far, will be curious to see how long the premise works.
Loved season 3 of stranger things. Have really been enjoying the glass blowing show on netflix too ("Blown Away" - sounds odd but it's strangely compelling and at 20 mins long the episodes are extremely binge worthy)

The premise sounded good so I tried it... but honestly after half the first episode I couldn't take the terrible wooden acting, rubbish writing and pretty bad special effects (though some of the spaceship wasn't bad)
4/10 sounds very kind TBH (though not unusual for IMDB) the 6% on rotten tomatoes sounds more accurate.

I felt similar after half of e1. The later twists and turns got me to the end of e1. After e3-e4 I'm giving it a solid 6.5/10. I have a feeling I might watch again taking it to a 7/10. As a semi-binge it's working well for me. I'd put this easily equal to Firefly although Firefly was not sci-fi/horror and this definitely is - including the classic horror 'look behind you! look behind you!' moments.
"The boys" on amazon is excellent. Totally bingeable! Beware ...extreme violence and nudity. Loving how 'supermans' laser eyes slices people to shreds. There will be a season 2, but hopefully they don't drag it out too long though... many great shows jump the shark when creative gets stretched.
And, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" -- the description initially turned me off but what the hell, give it a shot.
Pleasantly surprising, so far.
