Particularly ones like the raspberry pi ones that not only have the logo upside down but seem to add extra protrusions to the side making them too wide.
Yes! Why do they put those plastic wings on the side, that seem to have no purpose?!
neb:.. (And there are indeed power boards with widely-spaced sockets to accommodate wall warts).
I bought a couple from Bunnings recently - $12 each.
I also have an ad hoc solution for existing power boards that have a mixture of cord plugs and wall warts:
I plug a "piggyback" or "tapon plug" into every second socket and plug the wall wart into the top of that. (I have a stock of such plugs salvaged from junked equipment.) Although looking at the prices of new tapons, the $12 power board is a better deal...

For powering all of that stuff, I get a Meanwell 12V 5A power brick and run everything off a splitter cable, so a single IEC power cord to the brick and then everything powered off that.
And then a second USB brick for the cretins who think that running a power-guzzling mini PC off a cellphone charger is a good idea.

For grip when removing them and to space them away from other items for cooling, if you wedge several wall warts up against each other there's a chance they'll cook each other.
Geektastic: Getting notified by the Covid app that some helpful person near me in the last 36 hours has tested positive. 🤬
I got the same thing in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It's my understanding that these notifications get sent out if you've been in bluetooth proximity for 15 minutes or something like that which, for me, would limit the potential sources to work or the bus. Work seems very unlikely as I would be informed if one of my colleagues tested positive, so it has to be the bus. As a daily bus user I probably get exposed to covid cases on a frequent basis, so I guess this one just happens to be someone who had the bluetooth tracing feature enable on their phone.
It's hard to know how to react other than following the instructions to 'monitor for symptoms and get a test if any develop', which is clearly something that I would be doing regardless of this notification!
Travelling to Tauranga to look at and purchase a bike for my son, only to be told when I contact the guy to get his exact whereabouts that he sold it two days ago.
I wasn't very polite in my response to that message.
I'm not doing a deal outside of Auckland off Marketplace ever again. I also don't like the idea of using Marketplace at all, but my son is the one that insists on looking there.

The amount of stuff on there that is long gone is amazing. Its what happens when something becomes zero cost to use, it gets full of crap.

The Wellington Metlink app that says the bus is due and yet it does not come for another 5 minutes at least. One would assume it's using GPS but if so, then their GPS is pretty in accurate. And it's made worse for me when the bus shelter is an older style with no windows so if you sit inside the bus can come whizzing while you are sitting inside sheltering from the wind and rain.
Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD. https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.
Do they even have realtime GPS tracking? Maybe the due time is just an average arrival time?

Yes, buses in Wellington have GPS and telemetry but the arrival time estimates still seem to be hit and miss.
