Although.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994%E2%80%9395_Australian_Tri-Series

I recall Aussie A playing in other Australian based tri-series too, but this was the first one that came up when I looked at it.

OMG.  Herald reports "But that assumption was metaphorically crushed in the gravity of a "monster" black hole that a group of Chinese-led international scientists discovered inside our own solar system."

Don't be sucked in by this.

Pretty remarkable that they attributed the article to the Washington Post, where they state:

But that assumption was metaphorically crushed in the gravity of a “monster” black hole that a group of Chinese-led international scientists discovered inside our own galaxy.

There's no footnote in the WP article indicating that the mistake (if made by them) was edited, yet it seems bizarre that the NZH could have copied and pasted the article substituting "galaxy" with "solar system".

Maybe the Herald reporter thinks that a galaxy and a solar system are the same thing!

No it's "free" content.

Much of the "premium" content is a different kind of clickbait, for example:

Tax crackdown coming for Airbnb owners

(IOW if you're running an Airbnb in your black hole of mouldy dungeon basement. you might feel compelled to subscribe to read about what devious plans IRD may have to make sure your income gets assessed as income)

Or an attempt to be more accurate - the Chinese scientists making the discovery were for sure inside our galaxy, but inside our solar system hones in on their true location.

I see they fixed the error, and Google history show the proof.

What sort of editor would have so little science education to think when a scientist said "galaxy", they made a mistake and meant "solar system." Not exactly interchangeable.

I don't know why, but I can't see anything in black hole stories, yet find find them surprisingly attractive.

You underestimate the gravity of the situation. Don't make fun of such a weighty issue.

Currency market must have crashed

Chief executive Raelene Castle says she has no doubt Rugby Australia (RA) were doing "what's right" in defending the A$14 million (NZ$105,000) lawsuit brought by controversial ex-Wallaby Israel Folau.

the A$14 million (NZ$105,000)

That was corrected within minutes of your post.  The number of times that happens makes me think that Stuff probably don't bother to pay someone to proof- read - they just check here.

Maybe we should test the theory by tricking them into correcting something they actually got right.

I think we'd be waiting too long and lose interest before we found something they got right....
