Well, there was a slight delay in my wishing process, but finally ... I'm smiling even brighter!

Unfortunately there still is a slight delay. I’m following this with huge interest on BBC News (because I like their coverage style). Their Electoral College results of Biden 253 Trump 214 haven’t changed in 48 hours. I guess patience is a virtue.

It's just been updated.

Unfortunately not showing as changed on BBC News yet - as I watch live.

Ah thanks. I should have said “watching via BBC News on iPlayer app on TV”. Strange that their broadcast doesn’t reflect their website.

And: Just updated on TV this second. Biden 273.

Congratulations Mike, to you and your wife. That is no mean feat, and something for you both to be incredibly proud of.

#1 son got confirmation in the mail (yesterday - but he didn't check the mail box) from EWRB that he's now a registered sparky.

This means that I don't have to consult internet forums to be told I'm a dangerous idiot when I ask how to do something that I shouldn't be doing if I need to ask.   I can just scream at him from here:

We can work something out.  I *think* I can still legally pull the fuses from the board and cut off all power to his room, reset the wifi passwords, put a lock on the fridge door and tell his girlfriends all about the unfortunate itchy rash he had when he was 15.
