An aircraft / drone or whatever with ICAO code of C826AF has regularly been doing circuits and doughnuts near Lake Ellesmere (Christchurch) at about 5000ft!
According to CAA - It doesn't exist!
Top Secret trial aircraft?
Had you considered that it might not be a Civil aircraft, thus not on the CAA list.

I emailed Farmers about the below advertising. Telling them it was misleading because the only Christmas trees this applied to were wooden ones (despite having a link to actual Christmas trees next to the image below). Three hours later, they've now changed it to B1G1F Christmas decorations lol (and it now clearly states that it excludes Christmas trees).

Reminder to the Wife!
A setting of a 3 on the Philips Hair Trimmer we have equates to a 3mm cut!
NOT a "Number 3 Haircut" which is 10mm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C sounds like civil.
AF sounds like Air Force … possibly? 😉

There's some new airspace in that area for a drone developer (Kea Aerospace???) to test their aircraft.
[Edit] The airspace I was thinking of is the Kaitorete Spit restricted area. However, this aircraft isn't operating in that at all... the restricted airspace only covers the northern half of the spit, and only goes to 1500ft. Maybe they're snooping on Kea Aerospace?

I wonder if this press release explains it... I am waiting for confirmation if this is the same aircraft.

Wellington rental wants paying tenant to work as security guard - NZ Herald
The property was posted to Trade Me yesterday and asked tenants to pay $475 per week in rent for a one-bedroom flat above Kiwi Self Storage in Kilbirnie.
Any tenant would need to agree to walk the property every night and check everything was in order, and then attend any overnight security callouts and “take the necessary course of action”.
They would also need to attend weekly meetings with the manager of the storage units and debrief on any issues.
If it was all getting a bit too much responsibility the landlord had already factored in holiday time - any tenant would get 4 weeks of holiday over the year (not accumulative) and up to (but not exceeding) two nights away a month (also not accumulative).
Also - if the person did want to go away, they would, of course, have to organise security for the storage units.

So many whiskey tango foxtrots.
Have to wonder if it's the same guy who does "parking enforcement" mentioned elsewhere.
Wouldn't there be issues since security guards are required to be certified or security checked or something?
Heh, I once 'boarded' with a guy and his son in CHCH.
On top of rent, which was 'cheaper' because he wanted someone to be in the house with his son overnight when he worked in the takeaway shop. OK I said (Since I was home anyway).
He failed to mention his son had ADHD heavy on the H. He also failed to mention he was a RAGING alcoholic, and when a relative died, he left me in charge of his central city take away shop (In exchange for 'rent'), that went from losing $1000 a week to making $4000 a week in the month he was away.
When he got back he evicted me on no notice, and drank the takeaway shop into the ground in 6 weeks.
I was 16. Learnt lots of lessons over those few months. I've used them to great effect over the years.
Some people are always looking to take advantage of others and/or can't get out of their own way.

this sounds very American building supervisor role and they get ripped off just the same if not more
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
