My wifes old nokia is about 2 years old now. Its been through the wash, has been dropped many times and has a cracked screen. It hardly texts and she complains about it on a daily basis. I think the fact she has to charge it twice a day has really pushed her over the edge. Id suggest buying her a new one but she and I know a new phone wouldnt last with her.
Its gotten to the point where she needs another phone or she will stop ringing me and the dirty texts will stop.
If I win a new IDEOS, I can give her my old phone ;-)
currently use a 2yr old samsung w531. really is getting long in the tooth. nearly killed it a week after getting it by dropping it in the sea. Still going, but its old.
I have a not-so-shiny, not-so-new Nexus One. But my wife would love this - she doesn't like her (much newer) Nokia E63 and I often find her reaching for my phone instead.
Hi i would love a new phone, I have only had had me downs from my sons when they upgrade there, lastest one is one my son didn't when he purchased it from chinavasion. The Elegance m31 is an ok phone but would love to give it the flick.
I have a Vodafone 715. It works OK, is smallish and quite robust, but the screen is always dimmed when the keypad lock is on. This makes it unreadable in daylight so it can't be used as a pocket watch (which is all it's good for where I live, since no coverage here). An Android phone with WIFI would be great.
I'd like to win this IDEOS to give to my wife for Christmas.
She's still got my old Nokia E62.
For those of you who aren't familiar with it (as it was never sold in NZ), the E62 was an E61 that was seriously dumbed down and slowed down for one of the American networks.
It's got no 3G capability, which is a pain for us because there's no 2G signal where we live. It can't do Wifi. It doesn't sync with her Linux PC (thanks for nothing, Symbian).
She navigates through a series of menus, she ends up with more grey hair than when she started. It's not stress. The E62 is just that slow.
I don't know why you want to see a picture of it. It looks just great when it's standing still and not doing anything.
I just hit oil on my bike today and faceplanted on the road, broken teeth, smashed knee - so this phone would be great to entertain myself until I can ride again!
