neb: Annoying, but it's a standard 12V 5.5mm barrel jack so not too hard to replace. If you're in Orkland you can have my one since I'm running it off an immortal power supply.

Most of the ones I've seen are 8-pin. Are we talking about the same thing?

Possibly that was an older model, the type 300 has a standard barrel jack connector. Unplugged the Fu Yuk brand PSU it came with and plugged in a UPS-powered Meanwell in its place.

Restaurants that don't include controversial ingredients in the description of dishes. Chilli, Olive, Anchovies..  I've never seen heard or been served ceviche with olives in it, wasn't listed, and wouldn't have ordered with it, or asked them to omit them, but taste pervaded the whole dish once added and I didn't feel I could complain since it's a fairly grey area.

Ask someone to send me some photos of a network cabinet by email. I get a forwarded email of a pxt message with images smaller than the pad of one’s thumb. Ask them to re-take and re-send using the original quality option on their phone

I get forwarded the same email but with the images stretched out :/

Was it a Mexican restaurant?

Rude or obnoxious customers.

Small business owners in particular can be quite irritating.

I find CFO's and CEO's of large corporates a lot less annoying.

huckster:

This might be in the thread already but, MIL moving into a new house today and the previous owner has taken the ONT power supply.

It was there yesterday when we did a quick walk through....

Make it the agents problem. If it's only a day the previous owner should still have it. Did they also take the light bulbs and the element out of the water heater?

It's like when we're out for a breakfast with the family and the menu simply states Bacon and eggs with toast then it arrives and there's sauces and other runny/unwated guff on the plate that was not on the menu.

My kids don't like sauces and I don't like Mayo. Make it clear what you are serving!

I think I've posted this before in this thread but it's been a while and it will make me feel better to have another rant.

News sites that include "related videos" with their articles. The fact that they include them at all is an issue but often the relationship to the article is usually tenuous at best. Why can't I just read an article without having a barely on topic video thrust in my face.

Bonus points if they have a script that moves the video into the bottom corner of the screen if you scroll past it.

One of my many annoyances is what appears to be underlying cause here, and that's contact centre, customer helpdesk, etc. KPIs always focus on call answer times, call volumes, no. of tickets closed, etc.  rather than 'as an organisation were we able to resolve the customer's query to their satisfaction'

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
