Just finished Magic City (2 x 8 episode seasons) on Lightbox, pretty good. Unfortunately they only made two seasons.  I would have kept watching.

Started Dexter and Justified (also on Lightbox).  Enjoying them so far.

Interestingly, all three shows are set in Miami.  What would be the chances?  Well, I investigated and seems like the State of Florida offers some pretty generous subsidies for the film and TV industry.

I love Miami.  What's the difference between Cancun (Mexico) and Miami?  They speak Spanish in Miami.

Just watched the pilot of 12 Monkeys from the Syfy channel. Not to shabby and is along the same lines as the movie. If they can keep up the standard as the pilot I will keep watching it.

Finished Fargo a couple of days ago, and just started '24 Live Another Day'.

24 is every bit as good as it used to be, with non stop action, and Jack Bauer every bit as dangerous.

Great finish to Fargo, but not sure how they will make a series two work.  I think I read it won't be airing until late this year!

I have been procrastinating recently so I have managed to get through a few shows. Recently I have watched:

Fargo, I would recommend everyone watch this as I thought it was great. One of my favourite shows to come out of 2014.

The Knick. I enjoyed it, it's also one of my favourite shows to come out of 2014, I can't wait for season 2.

Masters of Sex season 1-2. I enjoyed season 1 but season 2 had a boring first half and the second half still didn't match the first season.

JWR:

I think Topgear's travel formula is very tired now.
...
I think they should get back to being a car show.

I recall an episode about Ayrton Senna, which I think was awesome.

Thanks for the info. I watched Series 15 on Blu-Ray and didn't know that the original Senna tribute was removed from episode 5.

Cracking in to the 3rd series of Banshee.  Looks like it's going to be no-punches-pulled stunner!  Highly recommended series, but not for the faint hearted or prudish.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Yeah I stopped watching it cause it was too over the top violent imo. Sons of Anarchy is very violent and I enjoyed that but Banshee was a few notches worse. Interested in maybe starting to watch it again.

I watched 'United States of Secrets' on Netflix today which is a documentary examining the USA's domestic spying tactics after 9/11. A fascinating insight into what went on and highly recommended - the level of corruption and deceit going on only a breath away from the President was amazing.

We've started watching The Flash. Formulaic and a bit predictable but done well and thoroughly enjoyable.

Miami is very close to Cuba - so you have a lot of Cuban culture influence there.

Cuba != Mexico.

The last season of Justified and last 1-2 seasons of Dexter tanked, hard. Walter Goggins in Justified is awesome. The actor is actually really eloquent and clever. His character was originally going to be killed off in the first few episodes but he convinced the show to keep him on.

I've just deleted all the saved ones from my My Sky. I was getting very bored by it to be honest - had high hopes but meh.

New series of Person of Interest is shaping up nicely I think.

I watched the first 2 seasons or so of Justified (it was in Kentucky not Miami though!) but then they messed around with whether it would be on, which channel, when and so on and I completely lost track of what was on where and have not seen it since. I do wish that they would include the series, episode and whether it is a repeat in ALL the listings not just some of them in the Sky OSG.
