Dingbatt:

Simply put. Yes.

Its a surround so your MW looks built into your kitchen cabinetry.

They are expensive for what is essentially some folded stainless steel sheet.

I dont get why people do that, when a microwave is so much easier to use when on a benchtop so you can lift things out of the microwave onto the counter.

Saw this at bunnings and thought that's handy for the 3d print cleanups and will mean I don't have to get ethanol from the 20 litres at work, because sorting out paying that back is a pain and I can't get the 20l for home.

Anyway,

It's not ethanol, its some glass cleaner soapy stuff. Pretty damn clear case of false advertising IMO but they seem happy with it.

It depends on the lift kit and whether you opt for the 22" rims or the standard size...

Interesting that the online description states it "contains ethanol" - not that it IS ethanol.
Packaging makes it look like it IS ethanol.

  • Streak free glass cleaning
  • Contains ethanol to cut through tough grime
  • Great for cleaning screens
Everyday cleaner that contains ethanol for effective streak free cleaning on glass and most other household surfaces.

And straight ethanol also does all those 3 things well.

And there is not an ingredient list on the thing or even %age of ethanol vs other crap in it which I think is a lot of water along with the soap since it has a viscosity closer to water than IPA or ethanol.

And its sold right beside IPA that is pure in the paint solvent area not the cleaning aisle.

Being provided a 'discount' on a subscription and finding that removes your entitlement to the extras that were previously included.

Looking at you NZHerald removing Viva premium I had before I renewed at the discounted rate you now removed.

It's not a discount if you get less. That's paying less for less.

Quite grumpy right now.

Reminds me of what's going on with T-Mobile in the States at the moment. "We're not increasing your plan cost, we're moving you to a new plan [that costs more]".

Again?!!!!!

Had to keep a magnifying glass handy to find them previously to have with my cuppa!🙃

The packet stays the same size, but the plastic insert in the packets these days has more "air" space than actual biscuits!

How is it that biscuits from Belguim arrive here with NO plastic insert (Like Lotus Biscoff Biscuits) - intact and unbroken, yet NZ manufacturers say the plastic insert is to stop breakages etc?!!!!!!

Way to sell more air!

Like meat products with added water, I mean marinades etc @ the expensive meat price!

Also thought that about the plastic, the way it squeezes so far in till you actually hit biscuit.

I guess everything shrinks except the CEO's bonus...

Yep.No disregard for CEO bonuses tho. Increase the margin/price. Noticeable. Fiddle with packaging but remain 100% compliant with regulations, not so much.

Paseo Long Rolls (no, not bread rolls) they stopped the 18 pack, now do 9 packs. Cheaper, thats all that matters..... Its only the tag that is cheaper. Not the value.

Last Sunday I got up at 8 AM, jumped out of bed and couldn't find Wife. Daughter still sleeping.

I came across Wife in the kitchen and said: "School is back, aren't you working today and isn't Daughter going to school today?"

Then I got the "It's Sunday!" reply.
