Also thought that about the plastic, the way it squeezes so far in till you actually hit biscuit.

I guess everything shrinks except the CEO's bonus...

Yep.No disregard for CEO bonuses tho. Increase the margin/price. Noticeable. Fiddle with packaging but remain 100% compliant with regulations, not so much.

Paseo Long Rolls (no, not bread rolls) they stopped the 18 pack, now do 9 packs. Cheaper, thats all that matters..... Its only the tag that is cheaper. Not the value.

Its a very long list. For us useless cooks, 1kg Birds Eye chips goes to 750g, the others from 1kg to 900g, Cadburys 250g > 200g > 180g, A burger pack of 12 down to pack of 10, another variety 12 pack > 11 pack > 9 pack. Some Timtams 11 pack > 9 pack, Chitchats - change the packaging and 200g > 180g.

There was even a shrinkflation follower in the US came across a cough medicine, no visible change whatsoever, except the dosage, take one teaspoon every 4 hours turned into take two teaspoons every 4 hours.

-- no I don't mean take the teaspoon, take the contents of the teaspoon...

It'll be the end of civilisation if Whittaker's joins in.

And straight ethanol also does all those 3 things well.

And there is not an ingredient list on the thing or even %age of ethanol vs other crap in it which I think is a lot of water along with the soap since it has a viscosity closer to water than IPA or ethanol.

And its sold right beside IPA that is pure in the paint solvent area not the cleaning aisle.

I went to leave a 1 star review on it and someone left one yesterday. If that was there a week ago it would have saved me this aggravation.

I have my own similar annoyance after I bought a product from a different online retailer. It's a companion product to another, and both items are "paired" on the site and are in the same category. Despite that, they're not compatible, and it's impossible to determine this from the information on the site.

That was me after I read your post.  I used a complete bullsh*t email address so I'm surprised it showed up but hey, there it is.

What a disappointment Prime Day and Primate Day sales were.

That’s because it was fake Prime day between Prime day and Black Friday.

Another one with bunnings and also mitre10.

I need to get a lot of brackets, they both sell the exact same one, its this thing

Couple of bucks worth. I need about 24 of them to join the MDF panels on my shelves together so they don't move as things are put on them and make the LED tape peel off the bottom of them.

So you would think it's simple but no. Both of the sites I am expected to choose which store delivers the order, and then tell me that there isn't enough at that store for my order to drops the quantity down to what they think they have (they will not have that many anyway)

So what am I supposed to do? Place multiple orders with multiple delivery charges? Get stuffed.

The travel company that wanted to route us Christchurch-Sydney-Dubai-New York to start a cruise next year.

I pointed out that there are direct flights to New York from Auckland, shaving some 17 hours or so off the flight time.

“Well you’re free to make your own travel arrangements.”

Well, children - can you guess what we’ve done?!

Even better, we’ve done it for $5,000 less than their option.

Geektastic: The travel company that wanted to route us

Travel company? Haven't use one of those in a decade. Very happy to avoid the bad ones. Had some fairly good ones, but none that ever has made me want to use them again. Especially not for fairly straight forward travels as yours.

Just remember that if you are not booked right through, they don't have to help you if you miss any of the connecting flights. So when you do it yourself, make sure you are booked all the way through.

When did these agents decide not to listen to clients?

If you need an agent in the future, at least one ou know where not to look for them.

I still use agents for complex bookings but it’s really annoying that when your airfare is booked by them you are restricted in what you can do with it. You can still seat select and request upgrades but you can’t change the actual flights.

We rarely use them; however it’s SWMBO’s 60th next year and she wanted to go on a cruise. The cruise package included flights.

I got House of Travel to book the flights as the routing requires NZ to NYC the return from Rome via Singapore a month later and whilst I could have done it on line, the flights proved tricky to do on a single booking for some reason, whereas the the travel agent was able to book it as a single Air NZ ticket code shared with Singapore Airlines.

A man’s parents buy property between two gun clubs and near active forestry land and then he develops a dwelling. He then complains non-stop about noise from all activities that surround him and the gun clubs look like they could end up shutting down as a result. What an annoying tw@t.

And this sort of thing keeps happening. Seems to be little regard for existing use.

Got a new iPhone, transferred everything from old to new phone seamlessly. Chuffed. Then tried to put in the old phones Skinny mini SIM card, and it doesn’t fit the new tray, sim ever so slightly too big and am loathe to try and chop it down a little in case it makes matters worse. Weekend so have to wait till Monday to speak to a Skinny human.
