Personally, I find the article above it fairly pointless. Pure speculation about a cluster which could indeed be serious, but could also be all points in between to pretty much nothing, but pretty much nothing doesn't make a good headline so lets give people something extra to worry about in the meantime.
“The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.” -John Kenneth Galbraith

Stuff, not a headline - but in the body.

"A total of 158,150 animals have been culled and $174.6 had been paid as compensation to farmers to date."
Not even a 0 in the $, and never realised it would be so cheap :-)
(Who proof reads there? Oh, that's right - NO-ONE!)
The Herald is as informative as ever -

though I guess they could have a point.

The Fonz is my "cool" reference point so I'm glad they included that picture. Now I know I can trust that article.

They've published it as an opinion piece...😃, maybe not everyone at Stuff feels the same way.
My sidenote (I've said it before but will say it again) - Stuff won't win my trust so long as they're still showing Outbrain clickable crud.
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Good progress made on Habour Bridge strut, NZTA says

Fairly certain that Isaac Newton didn't attach anything to a kite to study electricity. Benjamin Franklin, on the other hand....
(Come on, Stuff - not only did they live in two different countries, they were barely alive at the same time together: Sir Isaac Newton, December 1642 – March 1727; Benjamin Franklin, Jan 1706 - April 1790)
Sigh.

Do these people actually go to school?
Perhaps they didn’t attend any STEM subjects, or history for that matter!
The only requirement to be a journalist these days is to have a social media account.
