Not an episode but binge watched The Game, a six-episode BBC production about a 70s MI5 group hunting down a Russian spy in British soil, old cold war stuff. Pretty good.

Waiting for Scandal, Greys Anatomy, How to get away with murder to come back. Started watching The Knick now but not too sure about it yet.

Geektastic:
Handle9: We've started watching The Flash. Formulaic and a bit predictable but done well and thoroughly enjoyable.

I've just deleted all the saved ones from my My Sky. I was getting very bored by it to be honest - had high hopes but meh.

New series of Person of Interest is shaping up nicely I think.

I had low hopes but was pleasantly surprised :)

This season of Person of Interest is very good, much more plot driven than previously.

Yes, watched The Game over the holidays and was very impressive. Great series.

Reminded me a bit of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy...

I'm working my way through season 2 of Wallander, the Swedish version.  I think season 1 was a bit better, with a more balanced cast and less action - seems like in the second season they had a bigger budget, and needed to use it all regardless of whether the story benefitted from it.  Still think I prefer the Swedish version (season 1 at least) to the Kenneth Branagh BBC series - enjoyed watching that one too, but the dynamic between Wallander and his daughter, and the other police characters is more developed in the Swedish version.

This is after watching The Killing, The Bridge (Bron/Broen) and Borgen. Need to find another Scandi drama soon..

Lexx Season 1. Great stories, the FX are quite dated now though.

Thanks for the heads up on that.  Sounds like my favourite kind of program.  I checkout the author hoping it might be based on a John le Carré — Smilie's People sort of thing, but apparently it was written by Toby Whitehouse who has done stuff for the BBC including an episode of Dr Who.  He also comes from Southend-on-Sea in Essex England, which is the area I lived before coming to NZ.

Anyway...  Looking forward to watching The Game.

Season 2 of Silicon Valley starts on April 12 in the US. For anyone who hasn't seen season 1 I recommend that you watch it.

Rewatching a few things at the moment:

Rome (BBC/HBO) - Amazing show, such high production quality!  Definitely worth a watch!
House of Cards - getting ready for Season 3 in a few days :)
Walking Dead - just finished the first season.  So different to the other seasons, you can tell exactly when they got rid of Frank Darabont!

Just finished the final season of Sons of Anarchy. Such a great show but tbh it was getting kinda old. Was there anyone left for them to fight? Got a bit repetitive. I highly recommend it but it was at it's best in seasons 1-3 imo.

^Final episode was so so bad.  Last 5 minutes possibly the worst thing I've ever seen.  Sad end to a reasonably good show.

The very first episode of walking dead season 1 amazed me at the time. One day I will watch it again, but I am worried it won't live up to the memory.

Watched Outlander on Lightbox and it is really good. My wife said it is really close to the books, great sets and cast very well. Itching to get the next episodes now so hopefully we get them same time as they are released.

It's still very good, and holds up well.  It's just tonally very different.
