The Road User Rules definition of parking also doesn't depend on stopping engine or getting out of car.
It seems a brain dead move by coffee stand
At least let their customers stop.

Until now one of my main international news sources has been CNN. I watch it because it is readily available to me and because it covers American political news extensively, which I have been following closely in the Trump era.

Unfortunately, something bad has happened to CNN. Their regular news coverage seems to have nearly disappeared. Instead it has been replaced with Fox-style filler ‘features’ with repeating articles on Africa, technology, the arts, everything except the news, unless you count the endless detailed coverage of every last Hamas atrocity in the Gaza Strip. Without getting into a debate about the merits of any of this, it is not what I watch CNN for.

Whoever now owns CNN is either trying to chart an entirely different direction, which is their good right but which is not what I want to see, or they are trying to stuff their time slots with cheap content while they unload the company onto someone else. I miss the old CNN and I mourn its passing but I am going to have to look for my content elsewhere. A Cable News Network it is no more.

All you have to do for pricks like this is say that you don't owe them anything and that is the end of the matter. No excuses or anything. The amount is then in dispute and they have to take you to the disputes tribunal to get a ruling on it.

If they try to send to collections then just send them copies of you telling them that the amount is in dispute and they will send the debt right back to the idiot that is trying to make you pay.

Sending an email to several colleagues (one of which is officially an employee of our parent company, so therefore not technically an employee of my company). That one outlier is unable to receive my document, as it's too large.
The internal emails don't have that limitation. The one colleague that really needs to see my email is the one that can't get it.

Grrrr...

this isnt really sky's fault but not being able to record the Big Bash League cricket means i wont be watching it this year as the matches finish early morning . i usually record them and watch the next day but according to Sky they only have the rights to screen them live but not for recording them.

There was a massive management upheaval at CNN - Jeff Zucker given the boot as top smell along with presenters Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon and Brian Stelter leaving and then replacement CEO Chris Licht. CNN was getting pounded in the ratings by Fox and they've responded by shifting towards the centre. They still are one of the less bad USA outlets. MSNBC and Fox are pretty out there on the left and right.

I'm watching with interest to see how this plays out. I can't see how this is a winning strategy for TPM (or rail protesters).

The roads are a soft target with heavy impact.

Such protests also have the side effect of highlighting infrastructure issues.

My Arlo cameras threw a hissy fit. All offline including the Base unit. Tried for a few hours to fix it and have up. Couldn't even factory reset the Base unit. Changed cables, power cycled, restarted entire network without any success.

I pulled out the base unit and my wife climbed up and pulled down the cameras all going to the E waste centre. Arlo has been a pain in the gluteus maximus and I will never touch it again.

Currently looking for an alternative and has an interim I purchased a few Google Nest cams to temporarily fill the gap. Such is life, we yell, we throw things, we move on.

I was a little amused to see the writeup in the local paper this morning. It turns out that they marched down the main street, to the National office. Or rather, to where they thought the office was. It moved a few months ago.

lurker:

I imagine they do a bulk donation collected from x amount of customers, saves having to do multiple refunds to customers

I guess they might also use it as a tax write off?

Like supermarket checkouts asking for donations. That multimillion-dollar supermarket can then do a single donation and claim tax credits with my money? No thanks, I rather donate it directly.

That has always annoyed me. They normally ask when there is a big line up of people. I always say no, but will happily give money to collectors that I support.

You'd think a coffee stand / cart would be bending over backwards to encourage customers to park, and put a time limit on it if you have to!

When a TM Seller promptly sends a parcel and it promptly gets to the Christchurch Depot, marked as Processed.....

And that is where it is STILL sitting 3 days later!

My delivery driver hasn't seen it yet!
