It can be intentionally, or sometimes just misused in place of a period.
The ellipsis can be used to intentionally omit a word(s), to give the impression of a foregone conclusion or that something follows.
Most of the time, it shows a trailing off of thought or dialogue.
"Oh, no... Anyway"
"I wonder..." vs "I wonder." sound very different to me.

You can't say that ... you can also give the reader freedom to organise or think about things.😉

Compatible AirTags (there are even Apple-licensed ones) do not have a UWB 1 chip built in for localisation, as Apple claims this for itself. If you don't need this function, I have had good experiences with AirTags from ATUVOS. They are perfectly adequate for finding/tracking the car in a city (in case it is towed away). However, there are mounts and hiding places that require the original because of the dimensions (e.g. water bottle holder on the bike, key fob, etc.). They appear in the findMy app just like the original and even transmit the last battery level.
You just always have to bear in mind that the system lives from passing iPhones, i.e. it doesn't work well in lonely areas with only passing Androids.

Watercare (the organisation that looks after our water, here in Auckland) are responsible for any Mains water leaks and issues, up to and including the meter.
Our plumber advised that our meter appeared to be leaking, so we should call Watercare. They tried to make me do all the investigative work, but I wasn't home, so they booked a technician to go and diagnose/fix the fault.
I received a text stating that the issue was resolved. When we'd moved home and our plumber was finishing our bathroom, he advised that the meter was leaking worse than ever - but it appeared to be on our side of the meter (basically, where our pipes join the meter).
He dug up the pipe and there was water gushing from the join/cracked pipe. He fixed it (only took a few minutes) and sent me a video - it was GUSHING.
How would the technician from Watercare state the issue is resolved, if there's water gushing out? Surely they'd simply say - you have a leak on your side - you need to fix it. So much wasted water!
Super annoying.

They could have fixed a leak on the supply side of the meter but moving the meter started a crack in your pipe.
Stupid people that blindly follow the car in front at a STOP SIGN! Dunedin people will know this spot well. Coming down pine hill SH1 south into Dunedin. There is a stop sign / crossing road at bottom of hill, next to gardens for traffic heading to NE valley.
Car crosses in front of me that had time to do so. Lucky for me, years of driving told me car behind was likely to follow. And sure enough pulls out right out in front of me without looking, I had just enough time to jam on the brakes and stop (everything on passenger seat is now on the floor), but was a very near thing. Car stops in the middle of the road with a stunned mullet look on her face!
Then later on in New World car park, flash BMW suv starts to back out with me stopped behind in traffic. All I hear is beeping and keeps coming closer and closer. At this point I thinking everyone has gone Christmas nuts, so toot to avoid situation, but it turns out they were just correcting parking! I explain I was jittery after close call and we both have a smile and laugh ;-)
How hard it is to find wrapping paper in December that doesn't have Christmas text or imagery. It's as if the shops think that birthdays around this time of year don't exist or something.
LOL in our house one routinely gets birthday gifts wrapped in Xmas paper and vice versa! I take getting anything as a win.

My wife still reminds me of the time I wrapped a wedding present in Christmas paper...
Contacted three different companies yesterday using forms on their website. A car dealership, an electrician company and an upholster business.
More than 24 hours later, no reply from any of them.
You'd think the car dealership would be the most keen for business. It seems not.

Vandalism (regardless of its intentions).
Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
