Apparently the NZ Herald watched a different Bledisloe Cup game to the rest of us last weekend:

Stuff: (Currently #2 Latest Headline!)

8:10pm

Trump unleashesr at top US doctor Fauci

Specifically, this bit:

Throughout the year, the two men have both been working towards the same goal – getting on top of the Covid-19 pandemic and saving the lives of Americans.

The article is about Trump and Fauci, but it refers to two men working on saving the lives of Americans. Is there a third person they've omitted to mention?

"Teachers resigns"?

As for the example below, I know papers publish multiple, opposing points-of-view. It's just the irony of having one article undoing the other on the same page...

'100 per cent not a dog': Canterbury's big cat spotted in Hanmer Springs

IMO,  the person who 'took' this photo would know 100% what it was.

Not a news source, but Amazon/Kindle flier "The original Harvard Classics Collection contains 51 volumes of the essential works of world literature, showing the progress of man from antics to modern age".  Antics was, presumably, what primates got up to before humans evolved--good to see that they produced some timeless literature.

Taranaki on tenterhooks awaiting US election results

Those must be hooks that tenters use to hang things up in their tents.  (Resisting the urge to include something about "intense" in there)
