Watching Hard Knocks, as I do every year. It's still a poorly disguised advertorial but still entertaining as always.

5/10

Watching The Thick of It (Hulu). It's really good - a friend pointed out it's the same writer who later went on to create Veep.

In the loop (the movie) is worth watching as well. It's Malcolm Tucker as well.

watched Bodyguard over this weekend.. British cop show about a policemen working as a personal protection officer assigned to protect the UK Home Secretary during a level of high alert due to terrorist bombings and assassination attempts.. some very good character development and some extremely thrilling moments.. only 6 eps and was a great watch, highly recommended 🤙

Started watching The Umbrella Academy on Netflix and enjoying it. Quite similar to Gotham.

Nearly finished Doc Martin again for 2nd go, I love Cornwall and miss being there a lot, it reminds me of a calm safe version of rural coastal NZ. 9/10

Visited Port Issac, aka Portwenn, a couple of years ago. Such a quaint little place. You have to park on the outskirts and walk down to it unless you are a local.

I've binged the heck out of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video

I'm now almost up to date and awaiting the new releases of season 2 (I'm part way through ep 2 of Season 2).

It's definitely my kind of show, but Urban's accent didn't get any better...he's a Kiwi with a slight Sarf London twang. I heard a lot of that when living in SE London.

Have started Raised by Wolves and so far, wow. Androids raising human children on Kepler 22b to build a new world without religion.. time line set a few hundred years in the future post a war of atheists vs religious groups

I don't watch a lot of sci-fi's so i'm blown away how awesome it's been, the writers are amazingly creative!

I thought initially you were taking the p!ss with that description of Raised by Wolves, as it didn’t quite line up with the Raised by Wolves series my wife was so passionate about!

Watched the S1 finale of "Devils" last night, it's been a really enjoyable watch. Can't wait for S2 now.

Gangs of London is amazing, each episode is getting better and better (and bloodier).

Just started watching Peaky Blinders after hearing good things from numerous people.. Really enjoying it.

I guess everyone's already seen Lawrence Gene David "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He co-wrote Jerry Seinfeld

On NetFlix, Season 5 of BoJack Horseman is similar with a lot of self-loathing.

I wasn't so keen on the first few seasons. I'm actually enjoying this season.

Line Of Duty season 1 - IPlayer - 5/10

Beats me how this series has managed 5 seasons. This is the second time I have watched season 1 and it hasn't improved with age. Characters are one dimensional, no scene lasts more than 30 seconds, the plot is completely predictable, the bad cops could have been in Dad's Army... I could go on.
