Some of them are probably part of the team that created the comic too.
Handsomedan:
I watched the last episode of season 2 of The Boys yesterday on Prime Video.
Enjoyable, with a weird ending (Really, Homelander?) and set up nicely to continue into season 3...no real conclusions, so it's all still in the air (as a good series ending should be).
I want more and I don't want to wait....
I didn't think it was left that "up in the air", certainly not compared to season 1.
elpenguino:
I found it implausible that an astronaut would not only be sent into space but put in charge if she couldn't concentrate on her mission. Surely her husband would have some kind of medical checks before she's allowed to go. surely they would talk through the possible scenarios beforehand. You know, what would you do if you found out your husband was dying, your daughter had some terrible thing happen to her etc.
Wouldn't some kind of support to the family be put in place to provide peace of mind to the astronaut?
She falls to pieces from the family stress straight away - and that sent me straight to the fridge which took my mind of things.
In fairness (to the admittedly terrible show) her husband had been diagnosed with whatever the condition was, which is why he didn't become an astronaut himself - and they mentioned something like his father not getting symptoms until his 70s.
Would they realistically consider beforehand what she would do in the extremely unlikely even that something happened to him in the small window between her arriving on the Moon before departing for Mars?
I thought it was more implausible how after the "emergency" on the way to the moon half her crew was ready to mutiny (after spending years training and getting to know each other). They all had a different recollection of events, but they never discussed it with each other at all.
The worst part was how they had real time communication right up until the halfway point, at which point they suddenly introduced a 30 minute delay. If they're going to get it wrong, at least get it wrong consistently!
And if you're going to drill into the wall of a spaceship which has a good chance of rupturing the hull - why would you have the entire crew in that compartment while drilling, and why wouldn't they be wearing their spacesuits?
Any many many more issues.

Whoa. Mind blown.
Hey, is this new? If yes that had slipped past me.
I've been enjoying Raised by Wolves watching a couple of episodes a night while my wife is at work — she does not do SiFi. It's strange but wonderful right from the opening title sequence with spooky singing and lyrics that I have no idea about. The stars are the two robots for me — especially Mother/ ne: Necromancer. I'd assumed that necromancer was a word invented by William Gibson, but it is apparently a real word.

Just finished off Perry Mason (very L.A. Noire-like), a decent watch. Also finished off Bulletproof S2, a not-so decent watch...
Have been watching The Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix. Finished episode 5 last night, which was a real trip.

This may be damning with faint praise, but it was better than I expected... Some moments of cringe but also other of genuine amusement.
Finished watching Star Trek The Next Generation with my daughter. Some good episodes there.
