I am going to the USA later this year, I will be buying a lot of stuff there to bring back with me. Cheaper and better.

Heh, yep, same. Usually, a trip to the US costs me a bit, because I'll stock up on clothes, which last twice as long at half the price.

Feel like bringing me back a laptop ? :)

That everything is on sale this weekend, except what I want to buy (it's also on sale, but barely worth considering as a discount).

That's a cost of being a small population island nation on the far side of the world. There are benefits of the same thing though.

I may be bringing one back for myself....as well as a quick change tool post for my lathe and a couple of model stationary steam engine kits to machine and build.

The gigantic White Tail that decided my wheelchair cushion was a good place to ambush me. Big mistake, once underwear was changed I opened Armageddon on it

Good lord!

That was a visual I wasn't prepared for!! 🤣

News articles titled to indicate they are going to tell you something specific and definitive, and the article contains all manner of skirting around the issue, and the conclusion contains nothing definitive or specific, usually because it's not finalized yet!

Was the headline in the form of a question? Because those are always either a no, or it goes unanswered.

People who as a form of protest think vandalising something we all have to pay to get repaired is OK.

Hope they catch the bigots and make them pay to fix it. We know they won't though...

Having one of our exec state in a meeting taht we are "struggling". We've just posted a multi-hundred-million-dollar profit. We're not struggling.
We might be struggling to meet your KPI's, Mr Exec, but we are not actually struggling.
But you go ahead and employ some more senior managers to talk about strategy and make the frontline workers redundant, because we need to save some money.

I don't believe in vandalising but it's tempting to tape some sex dolls to some crosses.

I "enjoyed" his comments about how he wasn't sure that rainbow crossings were legal. Guess what: if rainbow crossings aren't legal, then solid white ones probably aren't either!

If his head did explode any sticky stuff is more likely to be hair gel than brains.

I would suggest a few hundred LGBTQ+ standing there in Rainbow shirts, playing the Lilly Allen song " F U " <fill in the gap yourself> on church days as parishioners turn up.

Get the "satanic Church" (ie atheists) to splash some water around and claim it is de-sanctified... and then some pastifarians bless it with some past sauce.
