Receiving notice from our rural delivery postman that they’ll no longer deliver parcels to the door. The options will be

1) if it fits in the letter box, it’ll go there
2) we can buy a large box (unsecured) and leave it at the end of the drive, into which parcels will go (and potentially be stolen from)
3) get a card to collect from a depot that requires a 50km round trip to go to

I’m wondering what service I’m actually paying for when I pay for ‘delivery’.

Heating something in the microwave then forgetting it, only to be rediscovered next time I reheat something in the microwave.

That's not necessary.

Not so much the microwave, but I've made a huge number of unintentional 'ice' teas, on busy work days.

My comment was a lot more tasteful than some of the rubbish spewed by some so-called 'religious'types.

Doesn't make you any more right. Despite all the bad done in the name of religion, far more good is done everyday. You aren't punishing the dickheads who behave badly, you would be far more likely to just upset someone who has nothing to do with any of that, and likely disagrees.

The cross is a symbol of hope and positivity for billions of people around the world.

My suggestion is not targeting those people, but the fanatics who think they are entitled to crap on gay icons just because they read something in the bible. You crap on their icon, they crap on yours. Sounds fair to me.

Apart from that, religious fanaticism has done a lot more harm than good throughout the course of history, but I won't pursue this argument further. Happy Easter.

Get a room and hug it out, you two.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

I took Rikkitic post as being related to Destiny church painting over a Pride pedestrian crossing in Gisborne with white paint.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

You took correctly. I was specifically targeting hypocritical thugs cloaking themselves in religion. I do not for a moment feel that every church should be desecrated, just those like Destiny and its ilk.

What made me so angry about this was the reports of threats aimed at children in Hastings, which so alarmed officials that they felt they had to cancel the event. However, this was replaced by an even bigger and better event, which even some of the thugs apparently joined in on! That is how it should be done.

I would disagree with that, but I say the same about ALL religions.

It's gotten really out of hand now.
I saw a rainbow in the sky earlier. Where the heck are our painters and their buckets of white paint now??

Even the sky has gone woke with their equal rights agenda. Disgusting.

In a world of Brian Tamakis, be a Helen Jacobi.

"I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce." — J. Edgar Hoover

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell

Oh no! All the money they put into gambling goes to support Pride!

I hope this annoys the religious nutters a lot.
