Agree with this and also check out the pilot for the new Amazon show The Man in the High Castle, their highest rated pilot and has been picked up for a full series. Frank Spotnitz, the X files and Millennium, is the writer and main person behind it. Well worth watching.

Finally got to see Vikings S3E1 and it did not disappoint - this show easily tops my list of favourite shows for 2014/15 (Yes, it beats GoT).

...Followed by a very close second, Black Sails.

Marvel's Agent Carter. 95% - if you want fast paced comedy action and sound (music and effects) with no thinking needed

not sure if it will appeal long term

I've been watching Deadwood, up to S02. The dialogue is amazing.

Totally worth it.

Episodes 1 - 10 of Game of Thrones 4. Ten hours of this world and its characters a year just is not enough.

8.5 on IMDB, which is rare praise.  The premise (the Allies lost WW2) sounds a bit grim, but the reviewers are all raving about it.

Brilliant show. Too bad it was cancelled after season 3, there was a lot more they could have done.

I'm most of the way through S01. Agree on the dialogue - C**s**kers is used a hell of a lot, as well as a lot less savoury words. Like. Pity about the cancellation, looks like it could have been great.

on the plus side it did free up Timothy Olyphant to go and do Justified which maybe even be a better show.
