kingdragonfly: The MotorGuy: 7 Best Car Seat Gap Fillers To Keep Your Car Clean And Organized

Nice! I'd love to know which works and/or best for Toyota. Googled and there are some local sellers. I see nothing at Repco NZ or Supacheap NZ.

Aha! Warehouse

https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/p/2pc-car-seat-gap-filler/M13816201.html

I don't like the idea of sweaty fake leather in the summer and the usual surface degradation. I might try it.

I bought a new cutlery set ~2 months ago, and today I found that one of the forks has gone walkabout. I don't take them into funny places (I always eat in the same place, never in e.g. the bedroom) and I can't see how this is possible, but it's happened anyway.

Annoyingly this isn't the first time it's happened, in fact when it happened around 3 months ago it was what spurred me into buying a new set in the first place. I just don't understand it!

Did you bin the fork with some takeaway boxes? Just in case have you looked in the very bottom of the dishwasher?

I've already been through the bin just in case, and have checked the dishwasher too. And under all the furniture, behind all the doors, under the couch cushions, behind the bookcases...

If it did go out with the rubbish then I would have thought I'd have noticed sooner, but who knows. At least I should be able to get a matching replacement without too much trouble.

It will be sitting beside a pile of odd socks 😂

I actually count my socks every time I do the washing and have therefore never actually lost any - or, rather, never lost them for long. I can't believe I've spent the past hour turning the house upside down looking for a fork though!

I broke my last remaining wine glass last night. Then again, it was an ultra-cheap Shenzhen or Qingdao-made one from the likes of the Warehouse.

"I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce." — J. Edgar Hoover

"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell

Don't ever go to Iceland then.  That place has sock trolls [*].  I started the trip with something like six pairs of socks and at the end had to buy another pair at a service station because all the other ones had gone missing.

I know how you feel. Both Mrs Code and I hate losing things like that and will go to extraordinary lengths looking for something.

I'm mildly annoyed this morning.

I got up at 1.50am to log into BeIN Sport to watch the Championship Playoff final, which I have a vested interest in as I support Southampton FC.
This is a Football game (with a round ball), in case any of you out there don't know to which sport I am referring.

BeIN simply refused to work until around 2.30 - 1/2 hr after kickoff.
Couldn't log on, then when I did get logged on, I got an error message, then I got some tennis from overseas, which was not originally supposed to be shown in NZ.

As a result of the delay I missed the only goal of the game, so missed the most exciting part of the broadcast. It's especially annoying at that time of the night.

The use of the word 'gotten', particularly by adolescent "reporters" in the MSM.

That is frustrating. The only positive is that we're back in the Premier league so you don't have to mess around with BeIN next season. I wasn't watching the game live as I don't have BeIN but I was awake and receiving txt updates from my cousin from inside the stadium.
