sir1963:

THAT is the influence of marketing, media advisers, etc.

Meh, I don't really feel like that's true. We don't have any of those people in our organization, but the majority of people expect a justification for a price increase.

I would imagine there would be more posts in here for getting a letter from their service provider with a 10% price increase if it didn't contain anything.

Dear Consumer.

We have made the decision to increase your prices 10%.

Regards

Provider.

The point is, it's not a justification to blame rising costs. If anyone has rising costs, it is the consumer since everyone they depend on is charging more.

What...and have them on here about rising costs and being unable to pass them on, threatening the viability of their business and having to close making everything worse for everyone ?

I watch golf on Sky, third time this issue. I go to watch DP World Tour as Ryan Fox going ok. Oh its PGA, must have selected the wrong one. No, they put PGA on the PGA and DP World Tour recording, stupid noob errors

The recording for F1 quali was listed as F1 Quali, also noted as the Sprint Race for the Britain Grand Prix. Not a sprint race and its the British Grand Prix. They need to sort this rubbish out.

About a week ago locally here in Waikouaiti (Nth of Dunedin), poison signs popped up on tracks entrances / exists saying poison will be laid etc from the 8/7/24.

No problems with that. But what I found quite concerning yesterday was the dates started to change as I walked around that area.

It appears that they decided to start a day earlier and just changed the dates where they worked. Saw a vehicle drive past with bags of either poison or pre bait on the back and a few poison signs.

As I was walking my brothers dog at the time in the area, I found that quite concerning. Lucky I kept her on the lead. In other words I could have gone in one area, checked date ok and come out another area that was currently being poisoned, different date!!!

And Bunnings always thinks I'm in Lyall Bay.  Which is about as far as you can get from here in any direction before you have to start swimming.

Are you referring to a mobile device where you’ve given location permission to their website or your desktop browser?

Phone "apps" which are just wrappers around websites. I tried to open one while I was outside the coverage area and it just displayed a blank white screen. I wonder why they even bother paying Apple for a developer account!

Came across a medical industry related that is hosting malicious content directly on their web server. Their only form of contact is online chat.

Sent them details along with what looks like an affiliated company with the same problem.

Their rubbish answer is simply that I should reach out to a third unknown party. No you dumbass - your website is hosting the content - not some third party!

Ugh, the AT app is like that, a front-end that displays transport info no better than the free AT-whatever app written by one guy on a budget of $0, and then for anything else you get redirected to the AT web site and have to log in and navigate a rather clunky UI that needs something a lot bigger than a phone to work on.

I'm sure you just misunderstood and they didn't tell you to sort it out yourself. They would surely have taken responsibility. After all, they say that customer safety and security is of their utmost priority.

I questioned their reply and they simply stated not to click the links

They’re hosting content for fake Afterpay bills

The fact that a Mechatronic unit in a VW DSG transmission is $5500 for a car we only paid $6500 for.
That's just the part.
Add another $2000 labour to that.

Our local mechanic sourced a replacement gearbox and will have it fitted including parts and labour for $3k.

Unfortunately, the poor kid paid a small fortune to have a number of other little things done like an oil leak, plugs and coils, new tyres etc, so selling it will net him a loss if he decides to go down that road after the repair.
