Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, S7:E13 on Disney+. The final episode of the final season. A really good wrap-up.

Resident Alien S01E07

This show is getting better and better. I like how they're not dragging plot lines out.

Mild spoiler....

Funniest line this episode that literally had me spit out my drink at the time. "Mr Wagner went to prison looking like that". A rather subtle joke that would have gone over many heads.

That beat my previous favourite line from an earlier episode "don't trust your balls, they're nuts"

Debris

Well acted scifi . Doesnt get too silly (yet)
Alien spaceship blew up & wreckage is falling to earth. Various Govt's agents in a race to collect all the debri .
landed debri effecting local areas in unexpected ways

1st 2 shows were intersting
However , I'd bet I'll loose interest further along , unless they can come up with some good plot twists .

Grace 2021 S01E01

I don't mind British Crime Dramas but I sometimes find them a bit slow-moving, and since I usually half watch, it can be easy to lose the plot.

This was pretty good to start, and within 15 minutes it was very intense. One of the most intense 90 minutes of TV I've watched and had a pretty decent plot, and I really enjoyed it. 8/10.

‘Line of Duty’ Series 6 on BBC - currently being released weekly. S6E1 was a bit confusing but E2 was right back into the true LoD - very good.

Also ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ season 3 on NF - covers the 2020 COVID-affected season. Riveting.

The final two episodes of Superstore ever.

I thought it was one of the better endings to a show I have seen in recent times. They closed up the storylines pretty well. Some of it was fairly predictable, but that wasn't a bad thing. I am really going to miss it. So many of my favourite shows have ended in the last few months. Last man standing etc..

Superstore. First few episodes. Occasionally cringy, way above average, several laugh out loud surprise lines each episode.

We finished LoD season 3 last night.  Real edge of the seat stuff.  It really is sensationally good.

Nearly finished Mystery Road season 2 which is one of the best Australian TV dramas I've seen.

We have a few series on our 'To watch' list that look promising.

  • Unforgotten season 4 — you can't go wrong with a cast like that.
  • Bloodlands which is a BBC cop procedural with James Nesbit, four one hour episodes.
  • Code 404 which is another cop procedural with Daniel Mays (who played the edgy Danny Waldren in LoD season 3)
  • Grace — ITV this time with John Simm as the title character. Another cop drama.
  • And one that fooled me 50M2 which looked promising but the language is all Turkish (with English subtitles)
