There are 20 bikes that would suit my daughter on paper at least at Evo Cycles Website. Exactly ZERO available in any Auckland stores (in her size).

My phone bricked itself. S23+, did a scheduled software update and wouldn't restart on completion. Tried charging overnight (phone was on about 70% when update install started), pressing all combinations of buttons, connecting to a PC but nothing works. Noel Leeming accepted it back to be sent off for inspection without any haggling, but annoying having to resurrect an old phone, install apps, remember passwords etc.

Probably due to start of school year and everyone buying their kids new bikes?  Went into "Warehouse Stationery", aka "The Warehouse" the other day and they're showing all the rulers in stock online.  None on the shelf.  Out of stock, still to be unpacked.  A stationery shop being out of rulers is akin to KFC being out of chicken.  Ah well, the much quieter and friendly Whitcoulls got our sale instead.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

Oddly my partner's Pixel 4 something received an update in the last week that has nuked the battery. We'd been uhmming and ahhing about replacing her phone anyway as her battery was only just getting through a day (which for me is pretty good!).

I've had read about the update and it appears due to battery swelling concerns they've pushed an update out that cripples the existing battery to encourage replacement. Now I'm pretty cynical but her's has gone from pretty decent to needing to be charged three times per day, and her only use is listening to music via bluetooth headphones. Barely any screen time.

Yeah, I am sure there are reasons, but it still annoys me.

KFCs would occasionally run out of chicken, when the delivery was delayed, or the wrong thing was delivered (thanks for the 20 packs of frozen chicken necks guys), or when there was a shortage of possu... uhh, chickens, chickens definitely.

The takeaways get all the best poussin. Meanwhile, the breasts in the supermarket would be ample enough for a human.

I've noticed that floor stock is really limited in most Evo stores - 99 Bikes tend to have more, but usually only the most popular models, which would likely have not been any use to you either.

Everything seems to be "we can get that in from our warehouse, if you're interested"...

Was pretty annoyed at having an extra long weekend, taking Friday off before the Akl Anniversary weekend, then getting sick and ending up in bed most of Sunday and Monday.

This is either hard to read layout, or poor signage. If they are continuing making this much money on a single camera, it's no longer about compliance, it's about revenue gathering.

Same here except for the taking Friday off. Started to feel crap on Friday and rested sat. Started  to feel ok on Sunday but as soon as I got the mower out knew I wasn't and Monday was a total write off. Not at work today and am feeling worse than all weekend.

Clearly marked, Buslane ahead sign, Buslane begins, green paint and a solid white line between lanes and continual signs saying buslane.

It's also not revenue gathering, its compliance. If you want to beat the traffic that much, then you pay the fine if you are caught. Look at the Google street view images along its length, and see how many cars are using and abusing it to pass other traffic in the regular traffic lane.

Comments like "Pati believed the council could make it clearer that people could not drive on it." If you cant see its a Buslane when the road is painted green soild green with a white buslane painted on it and there are buslane signs every 200m then you clearly are not fit to be driving.

Same as "revenue gathering speed cameras".  They won't gather any revenue if you follow the posted speed limits.

Whether you agree that the limit at that location is "correct" or not is a different argument.
