richms:neb: The subject of the email I just got following my day 12 test on Friday: "COVID-19 NEGATIVE TEST RESULT".
So does that mean you're now allowed to go to the supermarket?
Yup, today's my last day of isolation (day 14).

And it would be sad for the Corrections Officer at Spring Hill Prison if he was testes negative - and whole country had been told about it. He was probably delighted to be positive - but not so happy that his testes are being discussed as something small that makes you smile. Unless it was a female Corrections Officer at Spring Hill Prison ......

Small minds in a big lockdown: We have several pairs of tui that live around us. This morning I found an audio file of a tui call/song on the net. Went out on the deck and played it quite loudly through my Sonos Move. Within a minute a tui flashed in and sat in a tree near me, looking and listening.
I then tried a recording of an adult male blackbird. Even more quickly a large blackbird flew in and sat less than metre from me on the glass balustrading around the deck, staring and listening. They never normally perch there. They can be territorial so I'm glad my Move is white - a black speaker may have been attacked. 😀 Unless it was a female blackbird hoping to find a mate.
Now .... what am I going to do for the rest of the day .... ?

You're going to have to try other animal mating sounds now...Gorillas, Lions, Sheep etc...see what turns up from the neighbourhood.

Yeah, well - making human mating sounds hasn't worked for me. So far.

You're clearly not making the sounds loud enough

Nice. A few years back I had an LBP doing work on the house we had back then, he was close friends with the Pascoe family. Told me the story from her accident. And she is still trucking along globally. I see she found love. A lovely story
