"Backstrom" 6/10 is a couple of episodes in on free TV. It could work really well but they seem to be trying to make the main character lovable and anti-social at the same time so the direction is all over the place. As whodunnits go it is too simplistic and predictable - both times Backstrom pointed out a dodgy person early in the show and, surprise surprise, they get arrested at the end after much misdirection. I guess that is how it will carry on.

not it wont cancelled already, it looked like Fox tried to make another House but without good writers and actors.

I strongly recommend "Banished" available on BBC iplayer. Two episodes currently available. It is a historical drama set in New South Wales about life as a convict and their Soldier "masters".

It really is worth watching and typical "excellent" BBC quality.

Ancient Aliens, it is by far the best comedy on TV right now.

freitasm: I stopped watching Sleepy Hollow midway on season 2. Should I go back? Does it get better?

I couldn't get further than half-way through season one.

Is the main character still wearing his olden-day clothes? Every episode I was like "why doesn't he get some new clothes?"

Just finished watching all 6 seasons of The Sopranos, took about 4 months to get through, but very worth it. Now watching The Wire.

I've been watching Black Sails on Lightbox.

Game of Thrones, Piratically presented.

It's OK.

It will keep me going for a while.

Just watched Season 1 of Orphan Black, wife and I both enjoyed it - it has enough of a sci-fi-ish twist to hook me in, and enough thrills to keep herself watching. I spotted a couple of errors in science and stuff that were used as plot points, but managed to suspend my disbelief and keep enjoying it.
I give it an 8/10, and a 9/10 for the main actress, there's not many who can play that many different characters believably.
Watched it on Quickflix via the Chromecast, as their Tivo functionality ain't functioning. Will be watching Season 2 on Lightbox though, as QF want to charge an extra $3 an episode for it (when's the Lightbox Chromecast function coming? Its a pain getting #1 son to drag his PS4 into the lounge to watch LB).

Jack Irish, an Australian series of TV movies starring Guy Pearce. really enjoyed them. The character is  a former criminal lawyer turned private investigator and debt collector.

I'm 4 episodes in to Daredevil. I was a bit cynical given how awful the Ben Afleck film was but it really is excellent. Very violent but not in a gratuitous way. Highly recommended.

Now, they only put the nasal guy and weird hair guy on at then end of the episode.

That's what I look forward to the most!!

DIG - not very good. plot doesn't make a lot of sense. e.g. car crash, main protagonist doesn't even check for survivors. Runs off without checking, reports later someone may be dead. How realistic?

Vikings - more blood and gore.. great acting and story. What will Ragnar do in final episode:)?

Justified.. Good ending to a great show.
