I use my Sennheiser EH150 headphones for lots of things. Currently, I'm teaching online and use these in Google Meet. I also proctor speaking examinations online and part of the requirement for this exam is that the examiner's headset has an external microphone (for optics, mostly). Neither my Senn's nor the Technics have this feature, but here's how I got around that obstacle:

You can see the crudely attached 'microphone' that I attached with a screen through the plastic frame. The person on the other end is none the wiser, with the internal mic on my laptop more than capable of the task.

I use Logitech headphones, and at the moment only for Zoom calls. I'd love to have some PROPER headphones to listen to music while I'm working, and while I'm not!

I'm currently using a pair of JBLs literally held together with duct tape.

I wear them 10hrs per day while working, mostly playing background music and TV, but also for video conferencing, and for recording lectures for students.

New Technics would *really* help my teaching, as well as making everyday work better!

Currently rocking Bose QC35’s. Bought them to use on planes. Not such a big deal the last couple of years 🤔

I have this once-nice set of Razer headphones, now held together with superglue and prayer.
A replacement set would ease my concerns that they'll fall apart if I move my head too quickly, and I'd use them for late-night gaming so as not to wake Her :)

I've had to use these very tired and aged Sony PS4 headphones for mostly WFH and the odd Zoom/Teams meetings

Issues are:

- Janky fix to keep them falling apart (Please see the tape)

- Mic is hit and miss "Please speak up" or "Sorry, i missed that" is a common reply

- The ear cups are stiff and worn down.

- Although a small creature comfort being wireless, the battery life is shockingly bad! and they spend more time charging then discharging.

- Only certain micro USB cables work, these cans are quite particular on which cable works with them.. Weird

[Edit] - I don't even own a PS4, these were from my launch console, that's how old these are.

A new pair would be used for music and conference calls and anything I cannot do with these tired cans I currently use. Thank you for listening GZ

I am currently using SONY MDR-XB450 (decent cheap wired headphones) connected to my PS5 controller for gaming which sounds surprisingly good for the small outlay.

The Technics prizes sound amazing (excuse the pun) please, thank you.

I have a pair of Panasonic Bluetooth headphones and use them mainly at work to listen to music and make calls. I would love a pair of high quality headphones!

I've got a pair of old Massdrop PC 7X, the Sennheiser colab ones with a boom mic. I use them for absolutely everything, music, gaming, Zoom, Teams. They're amazing, but the volume pot is starting to die, and gets mad crackly whenever I adjust the volume.

I currently have Sony xm4's... Working from home, I wear them all day (and usually at night as well) - sometimes with no sound. I use them for music, teams, watching movies and pretending to be in meetings so noone bugs me :-)

I have a very old pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones I got in Singapore a long time ago that I only use when travelling, so they havnt seen daylight for two years.

They just are not great for normal everyday use.

I currently use a Sennheiser PXC 550 over ear headphones. I mainly use these for watching films on flights and also sitting in bed looking at videos at home in peace and quiet as well as for conference calls. The headphones are getting old and worn now, so I am reviewing a replacement set.
