My phone is a freebie Nokia 2730 classic. I should not complain, but I really do not like the keypad, it is tiny and I often press the wrong button  Would be nice to get my hands on this smart phone

I have an LG Viewty.  The first one I bought after leaving my Telecom dealership job had a dead screen, the second one was the shop demo unit.  When I got it home, the moisture indicator on the battery showed red!  I have nurtured the phone through it's warranty period, even bought a fancy pouch to protect the screen!  It doesn't go to the pool with me, it goes in a ziplock bag if I go tramping.  I use the camera function mostly, and I'm on two degrees already for their great text price to Australia, where two of my children live.  The touch screen doesn't calibrate properly, and I get a lot of mistakes when I text.  What can I say?  I'm a mobile phone geek.  I need a new toy!

I could really use a new phone. My phone runs out of power after 1 day. And that's with the new battery. Please help!

You don't choose a book by its cover but it does determine which ones you read.

I think it's time I got onto the Vodafone or 2deg network! My kids tease me about being stuck in the dark ages of Telecom only  ;)

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.

My phone is a 4 year old Motorola V360V clamshell, it has been severly abused in its life but keeps on working, It has been dropped on concrete more times than I can remember and bounces nicely, resets then keeps on going.. I have sat on it while the clam is open, dropped and acidentally kicked it across the ground. My 2 year old daughter loves to play with it, drop it, stick it places it should not go.. Its outer is now so scuffed that in places the inner plastic colour is showing through, the hinges that hold the clam open is cracked, the outer lcd window is so scratched is almost impossable to read. Yet it keeps on going.. The plastic that covers the camera lens  is broken and mostly missing.. And it still works..

I would love an android phone, who wants that closed apple stuff, if I win this I can finally retire the v360 and give it the final resting place of recyclement..

:)

I laugh at all the "I have an iphone 4  but would like to try an android" posts.
I am currently using an Nokia 2730. Probably the worst Nokia ever made.
I have had various nokias over the last 12 years and for some reason they thought it wise tho change some of the basic features in this model, like removing the feature of pushing the power off button ones to bring up the change personality menue. ?? that is one of many gripes i have with it.

I currently have an iPhone 4 but would really like to try an Android device.  Currently I can't justify buying one and having two phones, so winning this would be awesome.

I have loved my HTC Desire from the day I got it, way back in August.  I love Android, which I think craps all over iPhone and Blackberry, Symbian can't compete either. Hello & goodbye Windows Phone 7, you were too late sorry, and you made some of the same mistakes iPhone did.  Android will win this smartphone war.

If I won this, I would give it to someone for Christmas.  But not to my 10 month old daughter tho!

She will also love Android in due course, because there will be no other phone worthy of such love.

Over 1/3 of my life is spent in front of my HP dx7 Quad Core 2.1GHz|4GB laptop.
A few hours a day in front of my HTC Desire.

I have a 2nd hand Motorola Raza V3, it's old and beat up, it deletes random contacts, there is so much dust in it I can barley view the screen, the keypad back light no longer functions so I can't use it in the dark and I'm a stay at home dad with christmas on the way so there really is no room in the budget even for a cheap replacement. Winning this would make my year!

Look at it... go on...

Piece of sh..

Please don't let me win this. I want to continue in my delusion that my Nokia 5800 is the best phone ever. (Its the best phone that I have ever had anyway).

I have an iPhone 3G at the moment running iOS 4.1 and it's almost at the end of it's life. The trusty little thing's battery is dying and it seems slower every week even with resets.

I also want to try my hand at developing apps for Android, because i believe the market has more room for useless apps :D

Would love to have this for my daughter so I don't have to keep fighting her off trying to get my HTC Desire!
