I understand the fact that they don’t know WHICH matches they’ll be able to show, but they will 100%!know how many Chanpionship matches they’ll have the rights to vs the rest of the EFL.

they’re being deliberately obtuse to prevent early disgruntlement

If you had asked how many Saints games you could watch they probably would have laughed.

I wouldn’t inflict that kind of mental anguish on anyone.

i’m wondering if I even bother this year after last season’s debacle.

...

Question: How many EFL Championship games will I be able to watch with my subscription? Are all games available or just a selection?

...

So I;
a) don't know how many games I'll be able to see and
b) don't think it'll be many.

...

I feel your pain.  A couple of years ago Sky had the rights and broadcast the Dutch Eredivisie.  This was great, I could record overnight games and watch them at my convenience.

Last season there was no official NZ rights holder and it looks to be the same for 25/26 so it's back to finding, let's call them not fully authorised, streams, which are unreliable or buffery ( is that a word) and I can't easily record so it often means having to be awake at a time when I want to be snoozing.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Facebook hate it.  I have an anonymous account and purposely have no friends connected. I use it solely to reach some businesses that insist on having Facebook for contact. About a year ago under a totally different name I added a nice Google review for a business. Opened Facebook today and there are two of my Google reviews.

What can I do to stop this. Obviously I have agreed in some obscure way somewhere deep in the heart of terms and conditions that I’ve ticked.

Nothing.

Facebook have a massive tracker network to hoover up all your data (and everyone else's). You could try separate PCs for separate activities but who knows if they do IP address matching to make that ineffective as well.

Many, many people will agree with you - it’s this sort of thing that caused me to stop using FB fifteen years ago. FB is invidious, insidious, invasive and pervasive.

Do you use the same username name - eg Eva888 - and/or email address on both FB and Google? It’s really easy to change your UN on Google. That might thwart FB a bit.

I don't use Facebook, but I noticed that after I went to a rather obscure site on my desktop, I suddenly started getting ads for that site on my phone. I was able to prevent this by adding an entry to /etc/hosts, redirecting www.facebook.com to 0.0.0.0.

Unfortunately that stopped working at some point, because a recent version of Safari (Mac) started ignoring the hosts entry and somehow started connecting to Facebook anyway! I logged it as a bug and Apple fixed it... only to break it again a couple of versions later. It's still broken to this day.

I thought Apple had introduced a feature that prevents tracking across different web sites. Is this not effective at stopping Facebook from stalking your activity on third party sites?

It is not. It might have been at the time, but not any more.

No I use a totally irrelevant name and surname and one of four emails I have.

'Manage My Health' sending scare messages, to get sign up.

""If you decide to opt out you will no longer have the ability to connect with your doctor through the system ""  etc

For a start you are 'not' using the service now, so 'no longer have ability' well you don't use it now thus the call to sign up.

It can also read to an older person that your doctor will not longer deal with you !
"no longer have the ability to connect with your doctor"

So I have a not very digital older person asking me somewhat scared if they have to get another doctor.

They can manage phoning up to make appointments and odd direct email and such, dealing with another online portal, passwords, checking for notifications, and other stuff this service might want to push etc not their thing.

If they are this aggressive at the start, what comes later ?
Makes their emails sound like the last sort of email you should click a button on.

The real problem connecting with a doctor is that there aren't enough of them not the app. As an older person what age are you talking about?

Having a chat to the crew it was a change in aircraft configuration. Most of the aircraft was moved around.

I was a bit grouchy about a couple of things and I have to say the crew was really great. They really tried to help make the flight better for me and I felt that they took my feedback seriously and didn’t just brush it off. After a week of typically German customer service it was a nice change.
