Also does anyone know if, of the most stolen models, is it limited to only those that don't include factory security?  My wife's car is one of those and without the key fob inside the car there's no way it will start.

Successfully stolen, yeah it will stop it, but they still get broken into and trashed. If its like the aqua and there are models without security, then it will get tried and if they fail friends have found they just trash the interior even more and then move on.

Why every single time that the car won’t start the Gods make sure it’s on a Friday afternoon when all the mechanics are having drinks and closing for the weekend! I passionately hate the new immobiliser that was thrust upon us thanks to owning the most stolen car. It’s been trouble ever since.

Did I mention watching the phone dying while having to listen to their company advertising for 10 long minutes about their services and how they put things right the first time.

Mazda?

A super decent installer who supplies the garage who installed it came and put in a new immobiliser on the weekend. He was amazing. He didn’t have to do this as I had an appointment with the garage today but he said they would call him anyway and he’d rather do it himself. Just an incredibly nice guy who went out of his way to help and on a Sunday.

Why is it so hard to get small annoyances fixed?

For example: I'm good at software and I can see something is broken with my banking app, and I know exactly how it needs to be fixed (e.g. pasting a number with a leading $ character). Why the hell can't I report it and actually get it fixed?

I can invest time and money towards fixing something but unless I actually have an insider I'm out of luck.

I wish that all software companies had an easy-to-find bug report system!

Of course, then you have the issue that the maintainer of Curl is having, namely that people send him fake bugs.

This

I had mine out aged thirty-eight (or thereabouts, it was a long time ago now). It was absolutely not much fun at all.
I sincerely recommend to get them out early if you get lots of sore throats / tonsillitis in a child or adolescent.

I'm in my late 40s and I wish I had had this done years ago...but ah well, at least it's done now.

And tonight my mouth started unexpectedly bleeding...I thought everything should have been healed/healing up by now?

I understand this normally takes around 2 weeks to fully heal but it's starting to get a bit beyond a joke 😕

Woman who died of cancer had five coffee enemas a day instead of chemo, inquest told

This young woman's nutty ex-nurse, covid-conspiracy mother pressured her to squirt coffee up her * instead of doing chemo 🙄

Mother accuses paramedics of killing her daughter

A high-profile conspiracy theorist has told an inquest she believes paramedics killed her daughter and doctors used experimental drugs on her without consent.

...

She also denied influencing Paloma's refusal of conventional treatment, saying: "I cared for her like any loving mother would, but I did not make her decisions."

...

Mrs Shemirani described suggestions she had coerced Paloma into refusing chemotherapy as "false and deeply offensive" and said her daughter was "fully competent" to make up her own mind.

...

She said Paloma, a Cambridge graduate from Uckfield in East Sussex, had felt bullied and pressured by doctors while considering chemotherapy, adding: "I told her not to sign the consent form."

Yeah nah, she killed her daughter.

Describing the months leading up to her daughter's death Mrs Shemirani said Paloma had chosen treatment which included nutrition, juices and spiritual support, claiming that many of her symptoms had disappeared.

Nah. I think her mother was the one that chose a treatment of juices and coffee for her.

Maybe you were put on a blood thinner in case of clotting and need this reviewed. Call Healthline for advice and they will assess what the next step should be.

Something that shocked my wife when she came to nz was finding how pakeha families treat the elderly.

The comments on this reflect that, some need to learn that in most other cultures the family will be at their side doing the nursing.  An idea that seems completely foreign to Kiwis.

No blood thinners. I ended up going to hospital and they were able to stem the bleeding. So my weekend was a write-off 😕

Picked up two dog bags of dog crap out front of my property last week. So feeling grumpy again today after walking out and big pile out the front and dog has the runs, what a bloody mess! Not the dogs fault, useless lazy dog owners! Wondering dogs and dog walkers that look every where but at the dog when it is doing the business.

Went to dig some yams and a big turd in the yam patch. Put me off eating them. Unsure if that was a dog or big fat overfed cat.

It is time to come up with tech plan to snap a picture and pass on to council. Annoyed.

Have you thought of sprinkling pepper mixed with chili powder over the area, a few sniffs might deter them from coming back  to the same spot. It’s a yuck job made even worse if you step in it and tramp it through the carpets. We have had that pleasure.

I drink a lot of coffee...milky, frothy, freshly ground coffee.
I use A2 milk as it doesn't have any nasty side-effects on my digestive system (normal milk unfortunately does).

A2 Milk from Anchor is no longer available in NZ. There was no public announcement. It just stopped being on shelves.
According to this landing page on the A2 Milk web page, it's just not available.
https://a2milk.nz/

We are sad to say that a2 Milk™ by Anchor™ is no longer available under the Anchor™ brand in the New Zealand market. We are working through options to make a2 Milk™ available to our New Zealand consumers again. We do not have anything to share right now but we will provide an update as soon as we can.
In the meantime, a2 Milk™ Full Cream UHT 200ml is available in Costco. a2 Milk™ Premium Instant Milk Powder in Full Cream and Skim is available in selected Chemist Warehouse stores and online.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to the a2™ Careline team on 0800 22 46 32.

I've just found an alternative fom Fresha Valley at a supermarket halfway across town. $6.95 for 2L.
My local doesn't sell it.
I don't like milk alternatives - Almond, Soy, Oat etc. Plus it's expensive (although so is A2).
I will now be travelling across town to get milk.

It's annoying.
